The Apocalypse Respect Thread

I found it and thought it was cool.

At least it isn't a Apoc/Mags fight that's centered on Magneto, something I'd actually like to see for once in the 616 verse.

And why wouldn't I be posting scans of Apoc kicking some ass? This is his respect thread.

The way you posted it, at the same time with the scans of the recent Magneto vs Apocalypse fight, made me say what I did. It may have been a coincidence, or it may have not.

Woopidoo! And neither of those stories are canon. no expression

Nate Grey was said to rival Apocalypse in power. So: Less powerful Magneto >>>>>>>>>>>>> Apocalypse and Nate Grey?

AoA was nonsensical.

Apparently. 😏

Although it seems, Magneto wouldn't be a match for Apocalypse with a brute force, he still humiliated him.
But I wonder why didn't Apocalypse challenge him again through the House of M, because he wouldn't make again the same mistake to let Magneto what did he did to him here.

That was sad...yet another nail in Apoc's coffin.

They've turned poor Apoc into a joke in so many different continuities

X-Men Evolution seems to be the only version of him that deserves any respect.

Yup. A joke.

In X-Men:Evolution and X-Men: TAS. He was a monster there, in TAS even more so.

He was also respected in his classic form. And was a beast in a Ultimate Unvierse. Apocalypse should be constantly in such form.
Marvel better not bring him back, if they want to make another joke from him.
They should bring him back in a way something similar like they did with WWH, only even on a bigger scope.

Apocalypse vs. Magneto and the X-Men

Hollow words from a hollow man... meaningless and impotent.

I love that. 😂 I think I just found myself a favorite new Apocalypse quote.

As for that House of M thing... yeah. Don't have anything to say about it that others haven't already said.

Co-signed.

Hmm. Now that I look back at things, I guess I was a little too harsh on how Ultimate Apocalypse turned out in the end (I still hate how he begged for mercy though). Ultimate was indeed one of his best incarnations (if not the best), even though it may have seemed he died too quick. *shrug*

damn, that stings.

that is indeed an awesome line.

Regarding his latest showing in 'House of M: Civil War'...in Apoc's defense I will remind everyone that he was only a Class 20, (as per the bio book that was released during HoM).

Well, I was also little disappointed with Ultimate, but only because it was too short. But then when you think that he was defeating all together in a s short time and if not for Phoenix he would as originally, conquered and rule Earth, he did it with brute force. And when you think what it was needed for him to be finished. He was the first order.
Out of comics, he probably is the most powerful incarnation.

Apocalypse on Wolverine and the X-Men.

My sentiments exactly. 🙂

Apocalypse on Wolverine and the X-Men.

Interesting.. Is it known if the one who voiced him on X-Men TAS (or Evolution) will be reprising the role, like with Sinister?

It's when a character is judged by his powerlevel and performances in battle, and not due to his depth/complexity etc that you know he either sucks, or the those fans don't truly appreciate him.

I think the one that voiced Apocalypse from the animated series (FOX, Jetix) had died recently.

Apocalypse has so far made only minor appearances in two episodes, and he hasn't had any dialogue. I take it he's the main villain for season 2...

I suppose it's the latter. 😬

Aww.. he did? 🙁 That sucks. It's kind of a setback too, in a way. I mean, no matter what voice Apocalypse has in this series, it just won't feel the same like it will with Sinister.. I know I'm just pointing out the obvious and all, but still.

Yeah. I heard the 2nd season was gonna be based on AoA, or something to that effect. Not sure what to think of it yet.

He did? I thought his voice sounded familiar. 😖hifty:

Well, R.I.P. John Colicos..

Actually it was James Blendick who voiced Galactus on the Silver Surfer including Apocalypse for some time. John Colicos originally voiced Apocalypse although I'm not sure which season Blendick took over. It may have been season 3. Colicos died in 2000. I think Blendick is still alive.

I hope he will be a beast and will use his powers more properly than in comics.

Apocalypse (from Nocturne's reality) vs. Exiles and his son Armageddon.

The Phoenix Force later attacks...

... though it is unclear if Apocalypse was killed in the blast as they speculate afterwards.

Those aren't The Exiles. They're that reality's X-men.

Oops. You're right.

In those last 2 scans... Nightcrawler mentions that the device was a chrono-disrupter that possibly it sent their "Kate" to a different time & reality. The same could've happened to Apoc. Also, when NC was talking to Armageddon, even he doesn't believes its possible to kill his father. So who knows??

Still another awesome display of power from Apoc, and another greater display of force from the Phoenix!!

If I was writing Marvel, I'd make it so all the Apoc's from all the different MU-realities combine together into a multi-dimensional being that threatens to wipe out all realities. Ahh, we can dream can't we 🙂
