DC's Countdown

Started by Validus105 pages

I think he'll be more of a wildcard. Not a hero, not a villain though probably closer to villain than hero.

Right now all we know is that he opposes the Monitors but those guys are pretty shady themselves.

Issue 44 had great artwork!

I wonder who or what are after the rogues? Maybe the JLA?

Didio finally explained the Countdown teaser image.

He also says that DC is releasing a new teaser image monday.

Sucks please quit Dan.

Awesome deal, that picture has a lot of depth to it.

I thought this was the best issue in a while.

Could someone explain to me the Bleed stuff. I was a little confused.

Didio really doesn't have a deep artistic personality does he?

Seriously for most of the interview he keeps on talking about how the ground is death and all that garbage. I don't even think he knows what he is talking about

My comics won't arrive till later today. Closed for the holiday.

DD: Where they are in that image…I’d say it spells out something like The Death of the New Gods…but that’s just me.

And then we also did one other bit, which may have been too subtle for the picture, and that was Flash having one foot on the statue and one foot off the statue, which meant that particular Flash, at that moment, had one foot in the grave.

Someone should tell Dan that both of Flash's feet are clearly on the damn statue...

And about todays issue, well, Black Canary really should put on some damn pants when attending a funeral.

Can someone tell me what the Bleed is and why there is an army in it?

the bleed is a Warren Ellis concept originally introduced in Stormwatch, and used extensively in The Authority and in Planetary, all three Wildstorm titles. The bleed is the membrane in between the universes within the Multiverse.

Thanks.

Have they explained where Monarch's giant army came from yet?

This week's issue wasn't that great

The worst part had to be Jay Garrick just telling all of the Flash's secret identities to everyone around the world.

I mean did he suddenly forget everything that happened with Zoom and all the trouble Wally had to go through to get his secret identity back? Way to go Jay, now if any of Wally's family members die its your fault!

how are the superman/batman tie ins

So what else is new?

I bet Countdown would be a great book if all the Countdown tie ins were in the main book itself. Since when is 52 issues not enough to tell a story?

😬.

Countdown really is a faliure in comparison to 52, I hope it picks up.

It seems like every issue something almost happens but nothing ever really does. I don't know how to explain it.

Although 52 was pretty wack at the beggining also.
