I should be, because the Batman Beyond is part of the DCAU, but the DCAU is a Multiverse. 😕

I refuse to accept T.V and anything like that as having Multiverses that coexist with comics, even the DCAU.

I think the animated and comic are very separate.

Hypertime and World's funniest beg to differ. 😉 Read Mxy's respect thread. The DCAU is canon, but it's inacessible to most of the regular DC people.

Kinda what I was thinking as well.

"Justice League Unlimited" is a comic series though. ermmnone

That's why I asked if the DCAU was canonical to DC's 52.

IT's multiverse would have to be. I think that each of the 52 might represent a link to another multiverse of some sort. Even New Earth itself is a fusion of millions of infinite earths into one. All that power is still there.

Question:

If CA is Monarch, what happened to the "there's always another way to do things besides killing" Cpt. Atom we saw in CA: Armageddon?

Is it another universe's Atom, or just a profound and unexplained character shift? Because I can't honestly see why it wouldn't just be better to explain himself to the heroes and use all 3 in his army, rather than having one of each. Seems like an idiotic plot device so that we can see the fights.

Maybe it's possible that deep down, Monarch thinks his actions are for the 'greater good', [in a Multiversal kind of way]? kinda

Well yeah they are.

If taking away that Universes greatest protector is the right thing to do.

My point remains though. It might be altruistic in a greater sense, but do we have a reason why he can't just recruit all of them? Killing off 2/3 of a potential army seems pointless until you realize that it will sell comics.

Maybe all the time spent in the Bleed gave Monarch the power to metafictionally observe sales, and he's acting accordingly

I was saying that earlier. And then to top it off, Apollo is an alternate version of the Ray? REDICULOUS. The wonder Women chosen for the fight SUCK. THey could have used the reimagined Wonder Woman by Stan Lee and Jim Lee
,

Nazi Wonder Woman, And Wonder Woman from the Rock ages Story line. All much better than those lame picks In Atoms army. Hell even 1million Wonder Woman is cooler. and That Superman is such a whiney cry baby. OMG.

bingo. I loathe Atom's character change, and the only thing that can remotely compensate for this change, is that the bleed is known for warping the mind. In Ion #10, as Monarch, he saved children with Kyle Rayner, yet we see him now obblierating planets. It is possible that there is more than one Captain Atom presently. DC's ruining CA's character in exchange for some amazing feats. I'd rrather have the character, that's all that matters 😐

😂

Here's the cover to Countdown 8.

Blue Beetle I see.

Is that Karate Kid's hand sticking up?

I must say Nvr, that redone WW would inspire me to buy her book, if i could get a signed contract stating that out of the 12 books of a year, 6 would be done by Lee and then the other 6 by Turner.

That shit is beautiful.

They look more like buckles and KK has wristbands but I will double check.

Edit:

You might be right.

you know ive always told myslef that i would never be one of these vagina-mouthed fanboys who like to scream PIS, CIS or Bad Writing, but this Arena shit is getting too f ****ing out of hand now..... CA has always been the boss but he was never this bad ass to be owning the shit out of anybody so casually. let alone top notch heroes. i dont know if im the only one who noticed that his captur-ees are mostly variations of the original seven with a few distinctions.....this is bullshit DC! i know dude is on a mission but there is no feasible way CA a-k-a monarch should be bossin up like this. and Didio should be ashamed..there i said it!!
