something about the way Brits have their own form of slang and way of insulting fascinates me. all Brits feel free to post any and all slang and insuts here!!! not aimed at me, of course. 😂

as a people, they are just that, people. but their way of speaking fascinates me. especially the insults.

Most insults that are British in nature aren't actually insults that are known. They're just not necessarily obvious.

That's the difference between Yan...American humour and British humour. Americans mostly have to have it spelled out, drawn out, painted and constructed in a Puzz 3D sculpture before they go "OHHH!".

I don't get why the term Yankee got applied to the entirety of Americans. The term originally only defined the Americans who lived in the North, now it's applied to the entire region.

Seriously though, I've never heard any American use it as a term to generally define the English.
