Maybe you can explain something to me 🙂.
A Universe is an Universe but what is the difference between an Marvel Omniverse and an DC Universe (Multiverse).
DCs Universe is made from an infinite number of Universes, hence Multiverse.
Marvels Omniverse is made from Megaverses, Multiverses and Universes.
However, an infinite number of Universes is as infinite as an infinite number of say Omniverses, which is an collection of an infinite number of universes, or isn't it?
I mean 2xInfinity = Infinity....
Do you understand my problem?
Is the term omniverse and megaverse just an way of marvel to split the infinity of their Universe (multiverse) into even samller parts so they can get a better "feeling" for the infinity of the Universes ?
I think I'm confused 😛.

If I remember correctly (and I may be dead wrong).
There is one Universe. Each universe has dimensions as a subcategories.
A different reality is a different Universe.
So a Multiverse is 2 more parallel realities attached to each others.
An Omniverse holds a multiverse within itself.
Or something along those lines. Know the thing is, what is said isn’t allways a fact. And different fictional books, tend to mix up the definitions.
