There gonna be the exact same game, graphically, gameplay and AI wise on both Next Gen systems.
But yeah PS3 is trash, not only is it ridiculesly expensive it has hardly no exclusive games, the games out currently all suck save for Fall of Man.
Where as the 360 is cheaper, already has a small library of games, currently and for about 2 more years will have almost the exact same graphics as the PS3 and it has Live.
360 > PS3
Oh and BluRay is dead, the porn industry is backing HD, so that means BluRay will not sell in America.
Its a common fact that the porn industry drives what formats will be successful in America, they did it for VHS and for DVD and now most major companies have officially announced their backing of HD.
I'm not doubting that BluRay is more powerful then HD, but currently there is no huge gap in the tech, as I said in about 2 years there probably will be, but thats assuming that the PS3 even lasts that long and that sony doesn't lose all their third party developers.
For you to say PS3 > 360 right now is pretty stupid. The PS3 has barley no exclusive titles to its name and its most notable franchise (Grand Theft Auto) will now be available at launch on the 360, and PS3 doesn't have the "one big game" that will save them, like Microsoft had Gears of War during the Wii and PS3 launch, and Microsoft has arguably one the most anticipated games ever (Halo 3) as a trump card still. What does PS3 have? Metal Gear Solid 4? Please.
Not to mention that Sony loses money on every PS3 produced, compunded by the fact that the PS3 doesn't sell for shit and sits on the shelf while the Wii and 360 dominate doesn't spell to well for Sony. But I know your only defending the PS3 because you fell stupid for paying 600 dollars for a video game system that has no games and probably crashed the first day you played it, I know I would.

he's right..Halo 3 might as well be considered the second coming. Personally im an Xbox guy, and although i do play PS2 still (only because of controller problems with the xbox) if i had to choose betwen a 360 and a PS3 i would take the 360. PS3 is way too expensive for what it puts out, which really isnt alot. You would think they would have a whole lot of games to play, to compliment all the money spent on the thing. but obviously not....😕

I personally would find the game SOOO incredably boring if you just walked around with guns. I's much prefer to be a Jedi or Sith ANY DAY. And I think the setting is perfect. It's obvious that Jedi would still be alive affter the purge, theirs comics about it, books about it...
Just because GL maybe said five years ago that he "ignores" EU material, doesn't mean that he can't incorperate it into his games...
Frankly, as I see more and more what's being done to SW in terms of EU, I have to question the intelligence of the fans that like that stuff.
I'll admit - it does look like it'd be fun to be able to be completely crazy-go-nuts with the Force. And I'd love to play as a Sith/Dark Jedi and it NOT be as petty as it was in KOTOR. But it's such short-lived fun as it requires no real thought or effort. It'll get boring very quickly. I'd rather have a game that's real to the movies in terms of the Force as that would require you to actually think, because in the long run, it'd be more interesting and last longer.
But then again it seems people just care more about it being pretty and fast fun then actually having an in-depth game.
I must admit though, I find it very amusing that while talking about this game at work, I discovered that several of the people I work with, who aren't even that into SW, think this game's going to be lame because it's just so off of what SW is.
And about people saying earlier in the thread about Shaak Ti - yes, she is in it, and she's a boss. Which I think is silly, personally.
Yes, it is interesting how for example EU makes some Force Users able to blow stars or suck life out from the planets( Naga Sadow and Nihilus). And people say that this is because Vader said that "ability to destroy the planet is insignificant next to the power of the force"- But considering that Force binds all life in the galaxy, Luke blew the Death Star thanks to using the Force, and Palpatine gained control over Galaxy thanks to his Mastery of Darkside- I don`t see how those over the top powers are necessary.
Ever read the NJO novels? Lol, Luke there is like next to invincible. Umm, how the hell does a Jedi like him move 2 dark holes away from a system? And what about that Emerald Lightning force move which instnatly kills any enemy.
Weird -.- Thats why I like reading novels with clone troopers or bounty hunters in them, they don't overpower them that much.
