"merely $1000".😐
I don't know what country you're from... but it shouldn't matter. $1000 really is a lot of money.

And a more powerful video card leads to a more powerful power supply, and RAM to handle it, as well as the processor. You can easily spend 1600 dollars at least, and while that isn't a lot in the long run, it's a hard pill to swallow for many people to buy it all at once.
Originally posted by Blax_HydraliskIt edges the PC in terms of stability and price ratio, in all other areas, the PC dominates the consoles(GPU, processing power).
And that's why Console's will have the edge over PC's whe nit comes to the casual gamer, and the common people.
Originally posted by Blax_HydraliskWow, you spend 3 thousands dollars and still needed to upgrade your PC(it seems so as you implied it when you claimed you didn't need to upgrade your console yet).
I have a sexed out PC because I'm a PC nerd, and it cost me about three grand to get it all set-up and fully upgraded. I bought my 360 for $400 and I haven't had to buy a single upgrade for it yet... on top of that, all the parts are already installed nice and neatly and it's graphics capabilities aren't so much weaker than a PC's that the normal gamer will notice the differences.
A consoles GPU is roughly that of a geforce 7900GT which graphic processing power is eclipsed by a single 8800GT.
Hell even two 7900GT in SLI can't outperform a single 8800GT.
Oh and please don't ramble crap like "theres not much difference between the two!!!!!!!!" when the fact is that Mass effect for the PC was MUCH more detailed(according to bioware and fans) and the fact that the framerate was greater than the 360 version due to obvious superior GPU capabilities.
Your an idiot if you think you can argue against that.
Originally posted by Blax_HydraliskLOL 20% are you that naive? If the ownership is so low then why the hell are there companies like maxis, stardock, bioware, blizzard still making games for the PC?
So... I guess they don't see the point in making the game for a system that only 20% of people who actually own the system will be able to play. The PS2 is still beating the Wii, 360, and Wii in monthly sales and the majority of gamers have one, so it'll make money on a PS2.
The logical reason to assume WHY ******* lucasarts don't want to release for the PC is piracy.
I see, so i am now arguing with a console fanboy.
