Teen Titans: Raven Respect Thread

Started by Konton3 pages

Raven calms a crowd... forcefully.

Someone should post a scan from the recent issue where some demon says Raven has the potential to easily destroy the DC world.

Teen Titans

This is a flashback to when Raven was furiously traveling through dimensions searching for her father. By simply existing in an upset emotional state, she released large amounts of inter-dimensional energy that altered the already abnormal physics of another plane. As such, she accidentally created the Wyld.

Scared and oppressed by the weight of Solstice's presence causes Raven to crack, releasing a wave of energy that put downed several demons and ended the confrontation.

A demon discusses Raven's darkest potential, claiming that she could tear down the heavens and destroy planets if she so chose to.

BFRs Headcase, an immensely powerful telekinetic capable of owning Superboy and Wonder Girl, as well as create machinery from his imagination that could even create a black hole.

Later on she's forced to put Headcase into a coma.

Dream War

"Look, about that goth chick crack..."
😆 She scared the crap outta him.

DC Comics Presents: The New Teen Titans

Raven telepathically creates an illusionary projection in the minds of the Titans.

At this point Raven can't fly yet, so she tends to teleport ahead of the team to her destination. Here she ports in and uses her soul self to scout ahead. It gets tangled up and she faints, but whatever none of the other titans could hurt it either.

Turns out, the entire fight against the energy sponge, blob moster was an illusionary projection of the future that Raven dumped into his mind in just a few moments of time.

New Teen Titans Volume 1 #3

Raven teleports fairly quickly.

New Teen Titans Volume 1 #4

Raven vs Green Lantern

I'm too lazy to type out issue numbers anymoreeee.

Raven pulls Cyborg back from the brink of death.

Revives an unconscious Robin.

Raven and her mother combine their powers to attack Trigon's soul - the same Trigon who forcefully seized power over an entire universe - and weaken him to the point of temporary frailty, giving the Titans time to BFR him.

Raven overcomes her original five minute limitation for releasing her soul self. (Part 1)

Raven overcomes her original five minute limitation for releasing her soul self. (Part 2)

Quickly ports out of the way of Cyborg's thrown tree. She sends her soul self out to find the other Titans "In a matter of minutes," affirming that she no longer experiences the five minute limit.

"Traveling 'twixt dimensions as easily as you might cross 'tween streets."

Dodges Puppeteer controlled Cyborg's sonic blast.

Uses her soul self to release Donna from the Puppeteer's mind control.

Honestly I have no idea what is happening here and neither does the narrator.

Manipulates her trademark billowing smoke to conceal the Titans in an instant.

Raven takes down Rhea with ease.

Soothes a raging Beast Boy amped by the Purple Ray into submission.

Raven's powers are explained a little more in depth, and she empathically defeats a controlled Mento (of Doom Patrol fame).

Uses her soul self as a shield, absorbing objects into it's blackness and expunging it after danger has passed.

Here she does the same thing, but as a safety maneuver to save Cyborg from being sucked up by the demon's power.

So not only does Raven not pass out at this point, she can create building sized soul self shields that can absorb massive amounts of matter and (presumably) energy while she is still conscious and running around doing her own thing.

Typical at this point, the team is sort of out muscled and Raven swoops in with the trump card.

Downs Michael Sheldon, who was beating up the other Titans.

Dodges sniper fire.

Uses the soul self to block gunfire and take out some thugs, then empathically assaults one guard into revealing the location of a concealed bomb.

Catches a falling Starfire

Heals Starfire from physical shock.

Random porting around the battlefield.

Subdues a giant scary bug faced monster with her soul self.

Defeats Gordanians in battle.

Uses her soul self to save the Titans from the harsh conditions of open space, flying them to the Watchtower for safety.

Gives Lizzie a little morale boost.

Dips into Paul's soul and reads his mind.

"There is no sound or smell to herald her sudden appearance, just smoke appearing with the suddenness of thought."

Heals herself.

More mind reading.

Paralyzes Plasmus.

First time Trigon succeeds in outright control over Raven.

Ports out of the way in combat some more.

Healing.

Trigon starts manipulating Raven's soul self while she is carrying Thunder and Lightning within it.

Heals Starfire after her face is burned off by Blackfire.

When Raven lets herself go she taps into devastating levels of power and less defined abilities.

A separate instance of Raven giving in to her power.
