Spider-Man Respect Thread (Updated)

Hm. I may need that Firefox just for this thread. Because no, mine doesn't resize it.....and I usually need to save it to my cpu and open it seperately if I want to read dialogue and such.

Get Firefox. It kicks ass. You can even get the ImageShack Toolbar for it now. 🙂

I'm also planning on posting my next respect thread when DC finally makes the Spidey one. It's my consolation prize to myself. Granted, it's very good (As far as I can tell, it's every showing ever for him) but no one has the showings Spidey does. I'm at 300+ scans, but that's about all I'll get.

And since I've been told I'm being needlessly cryptic about unveiling future respect projects..I'll say this: It begins with a 'D' and ends with an 'eath's Head' and also has some guest appearences from his "relatives".

Seriously, level 4 fighting skills is like Nightcrawler level and last time I checked Spidey doesn't know any styles of combat, besides his own

Does he need any others? Pete's never been super-skilled, but his own fighting style >> pretty much any martial arts in comics (barring a few exceptions).

Spider-Man has always had level 4 fighting skills. That's fine with me, he's that good.

The sudden jump to 20 tons level is kinda hard to swallow imo though.

20 tons is pretty good. If we look at his highest feats he has been able to lift about that BEFORE upgrades. He can also dodge bullets from up close, I have dozens of pictures where he does that...in some he dodges them from behind. I think that if you go by number of styles one knows, he should not be 4, but if you go by the effectiveness of their style, he should be about that. Nice pic though.

Also, I'm psyched for the thread too. Realizing that it's going to literally the bigges respect thread in the entirety of the internet (and it's for friggin' Spidey!) is an awesome thought.

I can't imagine the work involved though...it takes me a while to put together threads that are <<< 1000's of scans (the most any of my threads has shipped with is about 150).

Well, 54 pages worth of written material in the Word file of the thread now. On tiny 11 font too. Up to 1980, about 2/5 of the thread ready. 🙂
