A few were comic books first that were then later adapted into anime. For once, let's give some credit to the comic book medium where it's due and shine the light on it.
Anime/manga then. I use the two terms interchangeably. It's still looking like this is something I should shunt to the anime/manga forum.

Thing is though Digi, using them interchangeably is kind of...well...insulting in some cases.
Consider if you will someone basing all of their opinions of the Justice League off of what they've seen on TV. Then compare it to the comics.
One is quite obviously superior to the other.

But I'm not using it to talk about the characters. I realize the difference, and if I'm ever forced to discuss them I make the distinction. I'm using them interchangeably because my meaning is "it doesn't belong in this forum," which is true for either word.

don't see why. The creator of the topic may have listed some manga in his op but there were also western comics in there as well.
plus all the comics I listed have to count for something, he's looking for science fiction comic books without that 'super hero' fantasy.
