Assassin's Creed [merged]

Yeah, I finished my 4th assassination and I do like the game. It's kinda of wierd but it might be cinematic feel to fighting and running around. But I only like it in short bursts. One assassination then turn off.

It feels more like an tech demo, or a preview of a game that they showed the publishers. There is a few of nagging issues in the game that somewhat annoys me. Homeless beggers, crazy guard AI in the kingdom, repetitive nature, and a few small details. There small but a bunch overall affects the game.

I still like it though, I'm just going to hope that the sequel is the actual game.

Finish (finally) the game last night.

What a complete utter shit ending.

They should just have stuck to the story of an assassin in during the crusades. That should have been good enough. Also the last fight with the Templars was absolutely stupid.

Spoiler:
"Let God Decide" then you get circle by the templars and for some reason the AI starts acting up.

I had fun with the game no question about it. But it does repeat itself quite too often. The controls were fine except my timing with the combos was way off. The beauty of the middles ages is perfectly capture in the game.

Upon reflection...this does feel like a GTA game (except you use horses instead of cars)

Would I want a sequel? Yup! I have long list of stuff I would like to see. But I'll save them for now until the sequel is announce.

Take a look at my post on the previous page WD, posted a link to a site that analyzed all the stuff at the ending etc. Lots of interesting stuff.

Yeah, I give credit to the developers, they did alot of good stuff with the look and design of the cites. That is extremely well done. It just seems that they spent all thier time doing that and not concentrating on core gameplay mechanics and details.

Darn nice game. I wouldn't mind a few more cities thought. It has gotten me addicted, I'm on my last assassination in Acre, I'll come back to this thread once I finished it O-o

I agree man. It took alot of balls to set up a sequel they're not sure is going to requested. I think they should have saved the sci-fi element for the second game.

Assassins Creed 2 is definitly going to happen.

Alot of people bought this game.

Well just to clarify.......although they set up this game a certain way, they knew there was a possibility that they could possibly be put in a predicament where making a sequel would not be plausible.

It's not as if they went into this just knowing that they were going to have the backing to make sequels. Listening to the woman in the interview, she knew the possibilities and wasn't overly (Kanye-ish) confident about there indeed being a sequels.

I personally believe they'll be able to make the next 2 Assassin Creeds Games.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

The problem is that, you can't help but feel that whatever you do as an Assassin in game is 'programmed.' I mean sure, in every game that happens, but you feel it more than ever here. It doesn't let you completely immerse yourself into the Crusade and Altair's story.

True, but most developers nowadays are planning on making more than one game from an franchise and it was clear that Assassins Creed would probably have a sequel.

i felt immersed in the game and the story. you just have to let yourself get over the shock that it isnt solely a game set in the 1300s. when i bought it i played it at my friends house first and i hated it, but when i brought it home and played through the story over again without all the expectations about it being in the crusades it was a hundred times better.

Has anyone else but me noticed the Assassin's Creed ending?

Obviously, just look at the posts...

I have question. For anyone who has this game on xbox 360 or PS3.

Is the font small for you guys? I have 24' TV in my room and its just weird to read it. I can make out the words, but by squinting.

Is there a way to change this or is this just how it is?

Yes. Get a bigger TV.

Yes that's how it is on smaller TVs.
I play on a 20" LCD TV, and I always have to lean closer to the screen and squint to read. And I thought that was how it always was, but when I took my 360 and AC to a friends house and plugged them into his 42" HD-TV the text was perfectly clear and large enough to read.
So it seems like AC doesn't work perfectly for TV below 40"...

I have that problem with nearly every game. I couldnt play dead rising soley because i couldnt read the text. All my friends whom have HD tv's do not have this problem. The text is still small, but very clear. Im assuming you just need an HD tv, I have a 36 inch TV, so i dont think its the size of the TV

It's the HD thing.

Most games have trouble with small print.

I see.

Thanks for your guy's help.
