Well, not really.

Anybody who paid attention to the game knew thats how the game was about.

But its not an spoiler.

Yes really. The people behind the game were not speaking on it and when asked, one responded that somethings should be left for surprise or something along those lines.

They intentionally didn't reveal the twist themselves.

It was intentionally.........not something they just forgot to mention and explain in any of the showings.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

how is it a twist at all? its at the start of the game.

Well whatever it was. Surprise.....whatever......I'm not trying to give it a name......just identifying it.

Call it what you like.

true, it IS like what ign compares to, "if we all knew bruce willis was a dead and is a ghost at the start of Sixth Sense"

You comparing the ending of Sixth Sense to the crappy plot twist in Assassins Creed?

If you are, its an horrible comparison because the game tells you at the first bloody screen, thus not being a twist at all. I wouldnt be surprised if this plot twist was just a way to stop you from seeing everything at the beginning.

So, anyone gotten a favorite city yet?

By far my favorite city is Acre, love the tallest parts of the city, love the docks. Jerusalem is my least favorite city of the three, I can't say why though.

Also, regarding plot near in the present before the "target memory" we get to hear about

Spoiler:
a "Subject 12", Desmond being 17th, who does something with a "ship" and time travel of sorts, of all the other Subjects 12 was the only one we got details on, could this possibly mean that we might be/encounter him in any sequel?
I know many doesn't like this plot, but I am starting to really like it, except for the fact that
Spoiler:
Veronica Mars is an Assassin, we have people here (Templars) who have fought the Assassin's for a thousand years, and no one spotted that she was missing her....(was it middle-finger or the one next to it?)....anyway, missing one finger.
Kinda an obvious sign I would have suspected the Templars to notice.

Also, one of the

Spoiler:
deleted mails in Lucys PC that is at first glance just spam, just wanted to point out for those that might not have seen it. Collect all the capital letters in the mail and you get a sentence "I'll be there soon" or something like that.

Oh, also, what weapons do you usually use in fights? I stopped using the sword once I got the big knife (possibly qualifies as a small saber?) and kept on using it for quite some time. But lately I have only been using the hand-blade, it makes fights a lot more intense as you can't block with it, you have to dodge and counter to win fights. For instance I only used the hand-blade when fighting my way towards

Spoiler:
Robert De Sable, ie, the place where there was a small war with Salahaddin going on
, much more interesting fights that way.

Is it possible to ride with the horse inside the city?

I dunno if it's true. But you can pass the guards and just ride in. Creating havok inside the cities.

😂

Never tried, will try tomorrow.

Now, as for the ending....

Spoiler:
it kinda snuck up on me, I was sure there was one more mission before the game ended, as I had seen on the "level select" that there were some "Additional memories" after the final memory, but those turned out to only be Templars, flags etc) Now for the ending itself, I can't say I hated it, but I wasn't too happy about the way things were left unresolved, also my thoughts about AC2 centering around other people, like Subject 12, seems pretty unlikely the way this one ended with a "cliffhanger.
I think I'll have to let it sink in before I decide if I like it or not.

I love Acre. It's got a very different feel from the other two cities, the port is great, and I believe the Cathedral tower is the highest point of all the cities. Of course, the first time I jumped off that cross I misjudged where the pile of hay was...

Perfect.laughcry

Well to be fair, it was a perfectly executed swan dive. Altair just happened to jump... about 90 degrees to the left. ermm

Same happened to me, I could have sworn I saw a hay pile in front of the church when I climbed up, but I only found a stair.... Turned out the hay was on one of the sides of the church.

I finally pulled myself away from mass effect and simpsons to finish the creed. What a shit ending. Even though i'll miss jumping roof tops. Im glad to be rid of this game. It only got more aggravating and boring the longer i played it.

Well you probably should be into these kinda plots to like it, Indiana Jones, National Treasure etc kinda stuff.

I enjoy fictional history very much. I think the games story would have worked better if it was purely historical. I thought the science fiction element was an interesting concept, but poorly presented. I enjoyed the story. It was the ending that i had a problem with. It is a bit offensive to me that the developers chose to tell a story which relies on a sequel to tell. There is no guarentee of a sequel. They assume their game is going to be popular enough that a game company will again, invest a few million dollars for another sequel. I had the same problem with advent rising.

Just got a question for those who are more familiar with a 360 then I am. as I just got mine a few months ago. In a game like Assassin's Creed, where you can only have one save at a time, if I were to restart the game now, would it in any way "remember" the flags I have collected? Wouldn't mind playing through the game again, but I want to collect all the flags etc first if I "loose" them.

if you start a new game you would lose your flags. if you have an achievement or something for collecting them you wouldn't lose the achievement, but if you're at 50 of 100 or something it would reset to zero if you restarted the game.

This really isn't a XBOX 360 issue........a save is a save and if you delete it/save over it.........it's all gone.

Unless you meant achievements as PhatJ explained above.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Well never done anything like that on the 360 before, never said it was a 360 "issue".

But thanks for info, seems like I will just try to get all the Templars, Kingdom Flags and Acre Flags at least before I restart.

So far I have 51/60 Templars and 93/100 Kingdom Flags, pretty annoying trying to find the rest.
