Darkseid vs. Thanos

Just because Superman beat Darkseid, doesn't help your arguement at all. Darkseid has still shown more personal power than Thanos. Just because an event happened in one scenario between two characters, doesn't mean that it would happen in a different scenario against a different character. Darkseid is more powerful and more dangerous than Thanos, and a dozen people have been slapping you with it across this thread, with your only arguement being that Thanos can take over the universe. . . . .. . with the IG, or HOTI, and that you think he's cooler. The first of which he doesn't have in this fight, and the second of which is in the eye of the beholder.

do u view the thanos quest as a feat. do u give him credit for best the motherfreaking elders of his universe. he beat them all. in many different ways. thanos overcame these brilliant minds to gain the gems. that is a bad ass feat. forget the gauntlet and the fact he accomplished something he set out to do the feat is him gaining the gems in the first place. look at that and that alone.

Going by your train of thought, Quanchi, Superman beats pretty much everyone on the forum. Because either through plot devices, pis, cis, or another route, Superman is pretty much always the victor.

Might I take a moment to devolve into your arguement style?

Superman beats Thanos. Look at his track record. Without an outside force at all, he defeated a being more powerful Kismet, DC's version of Eternity, a living universe. He doesn't even need gems or a plot device. He'd just squash Thanos before he could think something up with his awesomely powerful powers. LOLOLOL Thanos couldn't even beat the Fantastic 4, he stands no chance against Superman. Superman would melt his brain with heat vision righ through his pupils, in a similar fashion to what he did to Manchester Black in issue 775.
