lol...co signed about the do what you are told part. Well, her mom was pretty cool with her dating portugese/spanish guy...but I could tell her dad didn't like me, not because of my background, but possibly because he had a bad impression of me. I think he is starting to trust me, but every now and then I have to hear about how this is his "little girl", I better watch myself. But I dont let it get to me, I know he is just watching out, and doing his job as a good father. She used to get into many arguments with her dad over me, doesn't feel right to me though because I dont want to be the cause of someone fighting their parents. But as time went by and he got to know me, he realized I wasn't half as bad as he thought. 🙂

Don't worry about the arguments or yelling, it's just our way. 😆 If you're in good with her mother then that's an accomplishment. They're usually the ones calling the shots. If her father tells you to "watch yourself" then I would take it at face value. He may just whack you around with a bat or club to get his point across! 😱 He'll warm up to you eventually. He wants to see his daughter happy.

Thanks for the tip about the dad... I'll have to watch myself, but I know he is just looking out for her, so its all good. I love italian, just had tortellini droolioat her house for dinner tonite, so that was delicious. I love how her mother brings out grapes and other fruits after dinner as part of the dessert.
Also, we avoid each other during worldcup season, (yea it gets real ugly as to which country has the better team)...Italy might have taken it last year...But portugal is comin baby...just gotta wait a few years 😛
