Sure you won't be Louis?

Oh that was low you bastard! 😆

Ah, no! I didn't mean it in that way. 😂 It's just Darkhalen is usually Louis every time we play, and we both tend to avoid Bill in any way possible (that includes playing as him) because he means bad luck. Whether it's being Bill or him being an AI, he's usually the one to screw things up for us for some reason, so yeah. 😬

Its ok I took it as a joke anyway when I thought you meant it towards me. You knew I was black right?

Of course. How could I not notice by now? 😛

Ah, okay. It's cool.

Yeah, I agree about the finales. The Death Toll one can be good too though because of the Jesus Rock you can climb on that almost no zombies get too (the 2 Tanks usually just die after a few seconds, and the only special infected you have to watch out for are Smokers in the water). Not getting hit by special infected on the way to the boat when it arrives can still be a pain though if you're not careful. x_x I've had someone who was just about to step onto the boat get knocked all the way to the other side by a Tank when I was tryin' to help some peeps get Untouchables one time.

Other than that, we're basically home-free once we get to the finale, on either Dead Air or Death Toll.

Does it count if you get hit by special infected and just restart that section of the campaign over?

I don't think so. Don't see why it would.. In fact, I'm pretty sure that's what the restart option is for.

mmm Somethin' else about Nothing Special kind of just occurred to me (somethin' I read about it on gamefaqs anyway). If we like, make ourselves suck enough (individually), the Director (the AI that determines how many infected we go up against) should make it go easy (er) on us by reducing the special infected we run into. By 'suck', I mean getting constantly hurt by regular infected, 'accidentally' calling the horde at every chance, and having very crappy aim.

Not sure how much we would have to do it (perhaps just an entire campaign), but that should at least make us not run into a Tank before the finale.
Was thinkin' maybe we should try that first because with the way it is now, I pretty much always encounter a Tank on the 2nd or 3rd level of any campaign (even if it's on Easy), and since I usually don't get to have the auto-shotgun or assault rifle yet, I'm bound to get hit by the Tank at least once before killing it. >_< Needless to say, if you keep being very good, the AI Director will eventually be an ass to you and make a Witch spawn in unavoidable areas, like right before a safe room (yes, that's happened to me on occasion).

So... yeah. Make yourself suck for a bit, and getting Nothing Special together should be a piece of cake when there's less special to deal with. 🙂

I believe being vomited on does not count as taking damage from Infected, only the horde who hit you afterwards.

I'll handle any and all withches that get in the way.

Okay, awesome (assuming you have the shotgun).

I'll take on the tanks, without a problem.....on second thought I may need you guys as backup/human shields haha.

Anyhow, I'm afraid I probably won't have much time (if any) to be on Live this week, as much as I wanna do this Nothing Special thing and play some Marvel vs Capcom 2. Got a lot of homework and shit that's due soon now, as well as an upcoming test to study for. At least it won't be long 'till I have finals now. Then I won't have to worry about such time constraints anymore for awhile. ermm

Oh well. Until then, have a good one y'all.

And the same to you man, good luck, I will also be limiting my L4D time on the console, that's right I'm getting it on PC! so very soon I won't have the console version.

Aww. 🙁 I mainly use my laptop, not a PC, so meh.

And thanks about the first part, I think. 🤪

This game should've had a plot. I love mowing zombies down with a huge arsenal of weapons but I'd also like to know what caused the zombie outbreak as well.

The whole point of the game is to emulate the George A Romano films, which effectively have no plot in the form of the Zombie Origin/outbreak, the game is designed for gameplay not story...and while I'd like both present the gameplay more then makes up for a lack of plot, besides if you bother to read the safe room writing or look around say like at covered bodies, you will find small survivor plots they're just subtle is all.

And as a Survivor it adds to the immersion that you have no idea whats going on, all you need to know is the world has gone to hell and honestly if you were a real Survivor that's all you would know.

I think over the course of multiple download content, the story will be fleshed out more.

But in George Romero movies, they never explain why zombies broke out anyways, and it was all about the survival of the humas, and the commercialization.

Bill sold his soul to the devil in exchange for another 'war' to happen so he could participate in it, and thus, Satan decided for there to be a zombie outbreak in a random nearby city to see how long everyone except Bill would last (because Bill is secretly immortal).

There, I just told you a story for the game. Happy?
