Left 4 Dead

I just bought the fourpack 😄

Wish there was a way of knowing if/when they'll ever fix all the numerous bugs for Crash Course on the 360 version. Aside from most of the broken achievements still not working right (namely Smash Hit, Slippery Pull, and Jumpin' Jack Smash), there are still some occasions where you can walk through just about anything (trucks, giant crates, and other stuff). Doesn't happen all the time like it used to, but still annoying.

Worse, when I was playing on it yesterday as Zoey, it got so glitchy that none of my other teammates were able to move around anywhere at the start, and when I just barely pushed forward to pick up a medkit and submachine gun, I somehow teleported all the way to the other side of the map (almost at the saferoom exit where there were zombies, but they didn't react as though I was there). When the Infected team saw how far I somehow got before even being able to spawn, they disconnected and the match stopped. lol I was a walking ghost Zoey...

Way to go once again Valve.

What have they done before hand?

Oh, you know. Those broken promises. I'm not part of the "boycott Left 4 Dead 2 brigade", but was still a little irked by that.

The boycott has actually sort of died now you know.

What broken promises?

They released two DLC already and more are on the way?

Can't see how they broke any promises.

I don't blame Valve for delayed content or the price of the DLC. I blame Microsoft. Either way, Samas is right. It may have taken a while but the new campaign finally arrived and even though PC users received the new campaign for free the DLC was presented at a reasonable cost and we received the survival mode for free.

They wanted to release it for free. MS didn't want it because it would set a precedent for high end DLC content.

What more is on the way, aside from L4D2?

I wasn't even complaining about the price. I was talking about the numerous bugs that are within the Crash Course campaign...

Now I know why they call it Crash Course. >_> Didn't even bother to test the DLC for glitches before releasing it, did they? No way they could have.

Well, that Zoey mod and those L4D comics sure were interesting. lol

Also, having a Tank spawn has never been sweeter:

YouTube video

F*** the Charger. Tank will always be my favorite of the Special Infected. 😄

More DLC is on the way, according to Valve.

For the first game? 😑 That's certainly good news. Guess I was wrong on one thing then.
Just hope it's not glitch-city like Crash Course has been so far.

2 of the boycotters got flown over to Valves HQ (by Valve themselves) to show them they are still committed to L4D1 and indeed more content will be on the way, the boycotters mentioned it could be a new campaign, new weapons, or even a new special infected...

Also anyone else who has the PC version, are you guys looking forward to that Dead before dawn campaign mod?

I really like how Valve got the actual voice actor for Francis to record a line specifically for the mod "I hate malls" of course.

Oh also:

Terrible medic care I have to say.

Yeah, someone showed me a similar link about Mercy Hospital recently. Pretty funny I must say. Would definitely be one of the first hospitals to get overrun by zombies if a zombie apocalypse occurred.

Anyhow, that's certainly interesting to hear about those 2 boycotters I guess. Heh...
There a video of it or anything?

Is it too much to hope that this game will be ported to PS3 like Bioshock was?

On GTtv Valve stated they had no intention of learning the PS3's hardware at this point and wouldn't port it because it would be doing a great injustice to fans since they wouldn't be able to update like they can on Xbox/PC.

In other words, nope sorry.
