USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 THIRD ASSIGNMENT- 'The Fortress'

That's when something horrible happens, I'm sure...

Though "what now" is a good question. Walking back into the Agents at the Monastery sounds less than fun.

Cloud dizzily says, "I hate spiders..."

Groggily, Barb mumbles "I'll take some Agents over these any day."

"I'll be right next to you, Barb... damn spiders..." Hawk groans.

Well, nothing horrible happens that is NEW.

But you are still being chased by the spiders. They don't mind leaving the Fortress.

Oh! And it appears they pop out of the ground around here as well!

Mors starts to panic when he realizes that the Sentinels are not restricted to the Fortress and that the ground is turning up around them, spilling forth more and more of the nasty creatures. He begins firing his shotgun into the ground.

"Captain! What do we do?!"

For all his experience, he'd never been in a situation like this.

"Hey, uhhh..." says Dallas. "I'm not feeling too good."

There is a sudden stabbing pain in your side, Mors.

What's around us? Just the wall?

Well, that's the nearest major feature, of course; sheer and unclimbable and no good.

There are a lot of rocks around, this being a mountainous trail.

How the hell can they be coming out of the ground?!

Because the ground is full of small holes.

It doesn`t look good then.

"At least I will die in the arms of beautiful woman." -Severely wounded Melkor speaks to Sirin which is carrying him.

Mors has a sudden, very painful realization.

"Poison...their bites are poisonous!" Mors shouts, clutching his side as they move.

You rather hope not.

Besides, unless they have changed tactic... there seems to be a thin, elongated sliver stuck in your side.

Various streams and approaches of spiders are breaking you guys apart.

San, you feel a similar sharp pain also.

"Poison running through my veins...."

Neo to the rescue?

Mors will attempt to pull the sliver out.

It comes out easily.
