USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 THIRD ASSIGNMENT- 'The Fortress'

Klez raises his pistols to the Hunter, though he knows that it isn't entirely effective to blow the creature to pieces.

"Step away from the boy!"

"Hang in there, Melkor," Sirin says, "just hang in there..."

Sirin will continue her move over the rise.

I imagine Hawk's in a bit of situation, since Melis is somewhat... incapacitated.

Is Ares noticing anything strange?

And San's still running, confused by the sky...

Ares- nope. Giant troll is carrying you into the underground shopping mall you used as a kid, just as planned.

Just as Hawk is currently feeling six feet under and going down

-

The Hunter puts away his machetes- with great calm seeing as the mass of spiders cannot be more than a minute away- and draws two other devices. One is clearly a gun, but an odd looking gun, small and angular, which he raises towards Klez.

The other looks like an electric shaver.

Oh, San, yeah, sorry- clouds came down and started to wrap themselves around your limbs.

Berserker is still trying to get a jest of what is going on with everyone.

They've all gone nuts?

Wait... Berserker... something appears to be consuming Dallas.

"Hang in there, Melkor," Sirin says, "just hang in there..."

Sirin will continue her move over the rise.

"Leave me....if you.....have to. You shouldn`t die...for me." -Melkor struggles to speak, coughing a bit of blood.

(Melkor is slightly under 18 years old and always was a bit of nerd who didn`t have much luck with girls most likely, so he may feel a bit weird in this situation).

Klez opens fire with extreme prejudice.

"Just make sure we get there on time..." Ares says, settling in for the ride.

Heph stays put, not sure what the hell he's supposed to be doing.

"Mors, come on, pal, get up..." he says, nudging the First Officer.

The Hunter just stands there. Your bullets shoot through him.

He does not fire. Instead, he looks down at Hephaestus.

He raises the small electric device up to his throat. The sound that emerges is akin to the voice produced by Stephen Hawking's machine

"do/you/have/the/key"

"What the hell is this?" San says, trying to fight off the evil killer clouds (and probably dropping Barb in the process).

"It's a possibility," Heph says.

"if/you/have/the/key/i/will/take/you/away/from/here"

Klez prepares to fire again, but then decides to conserve his ammunition as the bullets are doing nothing. He watches the exchange, unsure what to do.

"Stay back, I'm warning you! I know Kung Fu!"

Heph pauses.

"And my friends?"

The Hunter turns to face Klez.
