In response to the "never worked between us/keep telling yourself that" exchange, I want someone else's opinion on this. This is a blatant declaration of love, or at least want.
Liz says those words to him because he said them to her once, and now he's telling her "keep telling yourself that." It's a complete role reversal. He basically told her in COTBP they could never be and here he is in AWe telling her it's inevitable that they'll be together. Isn't that pretty much saying, "I've had time to think things over and I really really want you?"
And I really want to hear the English to get a better sense of their tone. The Russian makes it sound like he's trying to be sexy and Liz is trying to be smug. If she says it more smug than angry, she's just once again trying to get the better of him. See what I mean? Anyone else come to the same conclusion?
Alright *cracks knuckles*
I think its almost the same as the curiosity. Im not sure about the flirting, though it's Jack's nature, but I think its practically the same in what it's leading to: "...you and i are alike..."
We have Liz making a list of excuses:
1) Hygene
2) Moral center
3) Sense of honor
4) decensy
But...she could've said one thing: Im engaged to the whelp.
Awe is practically the same: It would have never worked between us. Why couldn't she say I love Will?
Also, we are going back in CotBP. This is quiet funny. When Jack left he said the same thing but added "Im sorry"
In DMC Liz said "Im not sorry"
Then we go back again with Liz saying it. I think we need to go back and see CotBP one more time.
Anyways that's my opinion.

I agree with you on your interpretation of Jack's words. Essentially it's a verbalization of what they already both know, that Jack was willing to give the idea of them a chance. He's already proved that through his actions in DMC.
For better or for worse, he's essentially saying that his feelings aren't going away.
As for Elizabeth, meh. I can't read her, she's the wild card.
Okay....so basically....
Liz is saying the same thing Jack told her at the end of COTBP
"It would never have worked between us"
and Jack responds (his expression looks like he is smiling with a bit of anger): Keep repeating it to yourself oftener."....
So..I can't wait to see what leads up to this remark and why Jack responds in that way....is he being sarcastic...is he hurt....is this his way of saying...I don't believe you and neither do you believe yourself....
Aghhhh.....and why does Will propose to Elizabeth in the middle of a battle and why is her response "Now is not the right moment"....why doesn't she just say "you know I do" or something like that...does he ask her cuz he knows Jack might overhear...is he trying to distract Jack during his fight with Davy Jones? Dang, I need to see the trailer...I am so aggravated....If someone has it...please PM it to me....Iheartpocky, okay????

Oh, I know. I can't wait for this scene. Something tells me it connects to the scene in the trailer where he rats her out and everyone looks at her. Hopefully, that would lead to some kind of excuse or apology on her part and I think Jack just being himself will not come out and say, "I forgive you" but will mess with her a little bit and say it was just an excuse to kiss him and that would be where she says it wouldn't work out. Of course that would hurt him. Guys, he's crashed to the floor. He's not falling in love anymore, he's already there. So of course there's going to be a bite to his words and I would be shocked if he added "love" to the end of that. He only calls her love when he thinks he has the upper hand or at ease with her.
