If I were looking for a way for thanos to lose, I'd just pit him against Takion or Amazo. I asked a question and based on what I saw, I say The HE. Obviously Galactus couldn't destroy the HE as he only sent him away. and Even big G said that the HE could de evolve him if he actually had hit him. Thanos didnt' really even fight Big G. He kinda got a lucky shot in and then was bitched. Now you work that out smart guy.
HE couldn't even devolve Hulk, and yet, you think he can devolve Galactus?
Thanos knocked Galactus through the walls of his ship... down onto the planet, and then he bounced miles away...
Both got one-shotted, but Thanos actually did something, and he actually took some punishment...
Oh and, Galactus wasn't starving...

Work this out smart guy, Galactus Comments on HE's power, ANd on THanos Tech. Obviously the Cosmic Senses that Galactus has told him that The HE was worthy and able to de evolve him and not a damned thing about THanos power. Only his Tech.

He was trying to get him to listen, and Galactus's cosmic senses couldn't even tell he was in danger...

Oh wow. So HE devolved Galactus...all while sitting in a chair, with the aid of machinations, yet you speak as though it was all done under his own power, in a one-on-one, straight up fight. Such misleading antics...you're almost as devious as GS.

He has done so several times to other beings, including even devolving the environment around him.

The genetic accelerator that controls the evolutionary effects, which HE uses in his machines, is the same he has incorporated into his suit. Both his machines and the one in his suit produces the same effect. It has nothing to do with power levels...
