It's not even Sparrabeth that concerns me given all that I've heard. It's that Jack's development as a character sounds as though it's brushed aside. To me, that's more important than the shipping aspect. Does the end fit what the writers did with DMC? Well, all the rumors and spoilers from all the different sources don't seem to match.

That was my main concern. Jack. Sparrabeth is after Jack. My number one concern is him right now.
The ending that was set up for him was the crappiest ever.
And I don't know about you, but I find Elizabeth to be out of character. Tis true that she becomes more pirate and stronger. But you're suppose to add depth, not change them into another completely different character.
I find the whole story of AWE at the moment, from the perspective of the characters to be out of character. The plot isn't developing in a way that matches what occurred in DMC. And I'm not talking about it from a shipping perspective.
I understand if the story would go like this: Will and Elizabeth end up together because they're made for each other. Jack, accepts this, knowing that in the end, he's gained in return, the knowledge that he is a good man and that he lives a quasi changed life.
But from what I've seen, the story is W/E are destined for each other, Jack ends up either with a bottle of rum, or chasing after the Pearl.
That doesn't make sense with his development in DMC. In DMC, the Pearl is "only a ship mate." So all of the sudden after he gets back from Puragtory, he becomes more attatched to the ship that through his dealings, sent him to purgtaory in the first place? I'm just not buying it. It's piss poor writing.

piss poor writing lol
More like BS writing. The stench is too much for me to read.
I have to admit, there are some scenes that are quiet kick ass. Like the kraken scene when Jack looks at it, admires it for a moment. When they tilt the pearl-- a couple of things that I'm a little lazy to mention.
The script showed me how Jack was used in the most cruelest way. I kind of take back saying that Jack was the cruelest. But this script is beyond cruel. They make him look as if he was really a bump in the road.
Just the rumors that are going around recently about the novelization, which people have essentially said is crap, that it forgets character development altogether and that Elizabeth eventually kisses all the major male characters in AWE except for Jack. They've made her into a posession.
I don't believe the 100 page script at all. I think it's crap, but that the novelization is starting to match that script has me a little worried.
Also, I'm editing to add that you crack me up Mina! The stench is too much for you to read! Ha!

It's been confirmed that Sao and Norrie kiss elizabeth. They kiss her, not the other way around.
Seriously, why?! After all their talk about being feminists, why is it that she ends up kissing every single man in the pirate domain? Heck, she might as well just go ahead and make out with Beckett! That will solve everything!
Ok, but I do have tidbits about the novel. May I post them?
