If they don't cut it out. ermmnone

The director who does that will probably be beaten to within an inch of his life by crazed fans.

They'd better not cut it. It's a MASSIVE turning point for the plot, where everyone rallies to fight back.

I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but I'm not willing to read all 15 pages of this thread (6 at most). Does anyone know what happened to the Dursleys after the Ministry fell to the Death Eaters?

Weren't they guarded by Order members anyway?

I thought that the protection provided by the Order wore off when the Ministry fell because the latter provided some of the magical power needed for the protective spells.

I'd thought Harry told them the Ministry had probably been infiltrated, so they didn't dare use anyone from or connected to the Ministry.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa. Now I'm confused. Here's what I thought happened:

The Order knew that the Ministry had been infiltrated, so they didn't dare trust the Ministry. However, they decided to work with the Ministry to set up the Fidelius Charm to protect the places where Harry would be hiding.

Was I wrong in thinking that? 😕

that makes sense lol, i just wish she wouldve said it in the book, but there was already so much going on, i guess it wasnt necessary lol. and i wonder why she took out the person that did magic at a later age, i had all these theories on it lmao, and then she just took it out lol, oh well, cant complain, the book rocked my sox lmao

I think, but don't quote me on this, that Neville was the person who managed magic at a later age. Was it ever stated that this person would be revealed for the first time in the last book? Because on a few occasions, Neville said himself that his magic appeared much later than the normal age for wizards. His family were so concerned that he was thrown out of a window to see if he could protect himself, right? Or something similar...

Anyway, I think the character she means is Neville. His magic gets better with Harry's tuition 🙂

That is a really awesome theory, but i looked it up on mugglenet, and in the bloomsbury chat JK said she decided not to add that into the story. She said it would be a new character, buuut she decided not to put it in there. I wish in the epilouge there were little 'mini chapters' if u will, about many of the more important chracter and where they are now. I mean, a small section on luna, neville, the dursleys etc. of course then the book wouldve gone on forever... buuut... i wouldnt mind haha

Thanks. I didn't know she'd decided to leave that part out. It's a shame, she seems to have left quite a lot out that was promised 😬

Wasn't the last word of the book supposed to be 'scar'?

it was for a while, but she said on some interview that it was "very close to the end, but not the last word"

Oh. 😂 That explains a lot.

Bring on this Encyclopedia, I say. So many questions left unanswered!

Harry's kid: Albus Severus Potter
ASP.

i liked the book not my favorite of the series but it was enjoyable to read but i refuse to read the last chapter 🙁 i was in favor for him to be defeated

That book was the most enjoyable for me. I guess because it was the last book and I wanted to know how it ended so I was anticipated. Each page I would turn would lead to more smiles on my face. The strong vivid images I would get in my head wow. That is why the books are better than the movies. All the violence. Wow. Then the epilogue was like what ever for me.

hey i herd that voldemort is going to kill himself weird huh

J.K apparently had a press meeting and anounced that the character Dumbledor was gay? Did anyone else hear that?

Yup, there's a thread on it... 🙂
