Then I have something to thank him for; Saving my child. I don't have to thank him for being a firefighter. I'd thank anybody for saving my child, his profession is irrelevant. I wouldn't RESPECT him for going to get my child, I'd just be thankful. There's a difference between respect and gratitude. I say thank you to the cashier at stores when they give me my change, it's common gratitude, I don't respect them for it. It's their job.

What I don't get is that when you've been beaten fair and square you make everything out as one of two things:

A) Some personal attack on RJ, or B) Personal remarks about your opponent. You can't keep the focus on the debate since you haven't got a leg to stand on, so now you're trying to make it about me, it's not gonna happen.
