Fur coats are terrible things ๐ how can anyone find happiness in wearing the product of senseless slaughter? ๐
If people used them to live (which some people do) I have no issue with. But when people can afford warmer coats, not amde of fur, it angers me. I mean my uncle has a fur coat made out of a black bear and it makes me so mad to know he payed somebody to kill that poor animal, so he could have one more coat to add to his collection.

Either way I dun like it ๐
I mean, as you said if someone needed it to live, than so be it. Survival of the fittest, but the unnecessary killing is, well, unnecessary.

Nah, actually. As for bear pelts....I wouldn't have the nerve to step on something that looks like it's snarling at me. ๐
lmao xD
my dads friend Arden is a hunter and has a bear mat. And dear heads all around his living room. It's not that big of a deal because he does eat the meat. But still creepy o_0

A defenceless creature was killed to obtain the smallest, most insignificant knowledge!
Did the amount you learned justify the death of that animal?
And how will that single assignment help you later in life?!
Simple.

That's right, even with out any curiosity, we will never know, nor would experts. I Used to be in the dissection club in 7th grade and we dissected Shark eyes, a Frog, Beetles, Snakes, etc.

I'm saying the experiment is unnecessary.
Why must the whole lab class do it and not simply the teacher?
Knowledge is power, but so much mindless slaughter for such useless information. I think the experiment should be done a few times, and the information and pictures should be published so it does not need to repeated over and over again.
Besides, so many people have done it before. Why not do a paper on it and not actually kill the frog and rip apart the corpse?
Originally posted by AmbienceHow would pictures help if you can easily see it right there? when I read in my biology book, all I see is poorly informative pics of the inside of a worm. Why cant see the reality of these creatures and actually try to learn what and how it looks inside. Now days, youi can ask permission to not have to dissect a frog. I actually wanted to dissect a frog while about 7 classmates asked to not do it so they had to wait in the Media Center and do biology work.

So if you dont want to, then yoju dont have to but I think dissecting a frog and actually studying the looks of the inside of an animal would actually help you learn.
