Guy & Cody Vs Vega in a cage match

Cody earnestly wraps the bandages around his knuckles and fingers, he seems pensive for a warrior that's about to get in a fight. He let's out a heavy sigh and turns his focus on the his companion guy.

Guy places his left foot on the bench near his locker, grabs his laces and begins tying them in a slow, but efficient fashion. Cody, gazes at his hands and begins to raise them towards his face. He then abruptly gives him self two smacks on each cheek. Guy finishes up the task off tying his sneakers and turns to cody. He opens his mouth and says: "Cody, are you sure you want to do this" his tone is calm and his speech organized. He looks onto his friend and Companion Cody with an undecipherable, straight expression. Cody let's out a smirk, and looks at his ally with confident expression drawn on his face. "What's the Big deal, unlike you I'm not doing this for business" says Cody in a 'laxed maner. Guy's expression turns into one of concern and angst. He calmly replies: "This is not a game, this is life or death" he pauses, and proceeds "As a the heir of Bushin, it's my duty to punish the unjust". Guy, pauses again, but before he can finish cody interrupts: "And, as your friend, I'm here to help" Cody grins and directs his vision to the floor: "I'm not doing this for me anymore, I wanna make amends, but I have to do it in my own way." he pauses and raises his head "I can't lie though guy, this feeling it's. . . great" Guy turns his attention away from his self and too his friend: "Feeling?" guy ask inquisitively. Cody responds to his beguiled friend: "Yeah, that feeling. . . it's indescribable, and only manifest during battle" He pauses, takes a deep breath and continues: Guy, why do we fight really, is it for justice, pleasure, or to prove ourselves?" Guy, turns his head and examines the locker room, he then let's out in a quiet tone: "We keep fighting to find that answer". Cody Smirks and begins to advance towards the exit of the locker room. Guy pauses for a second and follows. The two friends walk side by side towards the door. . .

Vega is a more arial type fighter with alot more speed than both. But this is a fight I need to think over.

Wow. That was a great opening. 👆 As for the fight: Close call, but it being in a cage means Vega will probably win. But he'll work for it.

Cody and Guy take it. If they can take a guy like Rolento in a closed elevator I think they can take Vega. The guy throws grenades. But it would still be a good fight.

Im inclining to the duo. If it was just either of them, i`d give the nod to Vega.

I forgot, they are allowed to use weapons and this is a caged match.

Great job with the opening Emperor Ashtar!! I'm going to go with the duo of Cody and Guy. Not only do they know how to work as a team, but they have what the other needs like Cody has an equal amount of both power and speed and Guy is powerful as well, but has insane speed. Cody and Guy are both equal to each other, but surely they have to watch out for Vega when they mess up his face because you know how he acts when that happens, lol. 😎 😎

I have to go with the Final Fight duo as well.

Yeah, Vega will be a tough one, but if Cody and Guy can cause him to lose his mind by messing up his face, then he would be unfocused and they would have an advantage over him. Vega is very good at using his claws, but Cody is very good at using knives and Guy is very good at using both a katana and nunchukus.

Yeah, I mean Rolento went grenade happy on them and they still was able to defeat him, but it wasn't easy though. It won't be easy defeating Vega in a cage match, but I'm sure the dynamic Final Fight Duo will find a way to win this match. 😎

okay first off, Cody never fought Rolento. He took the shortcut through through bay area and faced Abigail instead. Haggar/Guy faced Rolento. Cody probably fought Rolento in SFA3 days and of course beat him.

the way i see it is this:
Guy's speed easily matches that of Vega without a doubt. he can match the pasnyass version of "Jason" move for move. its even going to be shorter if Guy can use his katanas.

Cody on the other hand might have trouble with Vega's speed but he simply knows too much about bladed weapons to fall victim to Vega's piddlyass. not to mention that Vega has the whole "don't ruin my face" thing going and Cody can punch through 50cm thick cement walls just for kicks so getting through gayass "Casy Jones" won't be too hard.

also speed isn't too much of an issue since if slow poke haggar could take down Rolento then so can Cody who is the better fighter than both Haggar and Guy. Rolento, IMO, seems to have more firepower than Vega and even seems faster.

Cody alone can take out Vega. Guy can just stand in the corner and cheerlead.

I disagree, there is no proof what so ever to suggest that guy can match vega's speed and agility. Especially cconsidering this is a a cage match which is vega's specialty.

They both seem to be really fast I haven't seen proof of either being faster than the other. Vega seems like he might be able to cover more distance because he's taller than Guy, but Guy's striking/combo speed is faster. I think Vega'd school Cody 1 on 1 because he's way faster. None of guy's speed feats can touch vega's imo. I mean guy is a beast when it comes to aerial attacks, He can really fubar you whilst in the air. But, Vega's capable of: keeping up if not blitzing cammy (Who is one of the most Agile Street Fighters), Propeling him self horizontinally across an area by pushing of a wall, and not to mention his evasive tactics. He's the fastest Street Fighter by far no contest and he has a cage match advantage which allows him to blitz.

i think Cody can match Vega since he was pretty much able to hold his own against Rolento who can move around just as fast as Vega. on top of that Rolento even has grenades, knives, ropes, wires and the staff of his as extra advantage. Vega only has a claw.
also i feel you're overrating Vega's speed. no where does it say that Vega is the fastest. Chunli, Rolento, Guy can match Vega's speed move for move IMO. like brainy said, Guy's a damn ninja just like vega so its not too out of qquestion for them to be equal in speed.
also if Guile (most likely winner of SF2) could take down Vega (in a cage) then why can't a faster Cody?

also Cody took on Belger who was shooting at him with a machine gun i think (i played FF1 AGES ago so i don't remember exactly. but he was shooting). If cody took him on (in a closed room) why is a f@g with a claw such a big deal?

as for Guy=Cody, IMO Cody is better since not only was HE the one put Belger out of commission, but he has been the hero of all the FF games (at least the ones he was in).

Where's the evidence supporting this claim because last I checked vega toyed around with cammy who is evn faster than rolento (This is if you want to use A>B>C logic.

Vega's a master of the claw he uses it extremely well. Just because rolento has more weapons doesn't make him stronger. With that logic I could say Gouki's weaker than rolento because he only uses his fist.

And, your underrating Vega's speed, Rolento is no match for Vega speed.

Vega is able to hang with the fastest Street Fighters I.E. Cammy.

Vega is a ninja as well and not to mention he's hanged with the fastest fighters in Street Fighter.
