Dej Jam FFNY is the best fighitng game out there man on PS2. hands down. before i played that i thought it was Tekken5 but when i played it...no way! DJ NY rocks like nothing else before it.

It's a crying f**kin' shame that Fight4NY wasn't online enabled. I'd totally kick your a$$ in that too manebangin If Aki(makers of the WWF wrestling games back when they were still worth playing like "WMania 2000", "No Mercy", & the 2 good Def J games) had came back to make Icon, I'd actually have considered buying a PS3.
Love it or hate it, Icon was off to a pretty good start for the new-gens(despite alot of the bad reviews), but atleast it did show how far the Def Jam series can go, even with the scratching and even without some of the features that its sequels had, but I do respect your opinions about Icon if you like it or not. Hopefully, AKI will make a return for the next Def Jam sequel. 😉
Anyway, Vega may get very angry if his face is messed up, but don't forget how angry Cody can get too. He defeated Abigail by himself in the past and he was the strongest Mad Gear member just by hearing one comment about Jessica from him. Cody and Guy are equal, but they are very diffrent from each other. Guy is the calm one and always thinks before doing things, but Cody on the other hand has a great temper and sometimes jumps into fights without thinking and usually gets his opponents mad to fight him(like he tried to do with Guy in SFA3, which worked) or uses his handcuffs to make it look like he's easy to take down, but he's focused on his target though. They may have to watch out for Vega's claws, but knowing Cody, he'll just give a slight smile about the claws and won't really let them get to him.

Cody actually wears the cuffs to give his opponents a chance...that's just badass. cody beats up thugs like there is no tomorrow, can dodge bullets and punch through 50 cm thick walls. imagine what would happen if he punches Vega's prettyboy face with that wallop.
Also Cody's speed is pretty good...and since he's the hero of FF i guess its safe bet that he is better than Guy as a fighter. Even in SFA3 story of his he beats guy. Not to mention later on he aids Guy take out a handful of the dolls (only he did it himself in like a few seconds) while Guy was bitching about how there are too many of them. sissy😠
and who cares if pansy Spanish ninja gets pissed and throws a hissy fit cuz he broke his nail. like Cody gives a crap. he's taken on a lot worse.

If your talking about running speed I really don't see how it's relevant in this debate. Guy running faster than
wall to wall, yes Rolento has those moves. litereally jumping from one end of the screen to pretty close to the other.
I'm not talking about flipping off one wall sado. I mean litteraly fly from wall to wall as if he were superman. Rolento has never performed something like that ever.
and on more than one occassion does he roll across the screen, hop on the wall and fly off in another direction.

Sado look at the videos I posted in there entirety. Rolento cannot perform any speed feat like that period neither can guy. Leg power is fundemental to speed and evasion. When has rolento: flew from wall to wall in a single feat?

Maybe not in running speed but in fighting speed she sure is up their. Let me give Guy the benefit of the doubt (Screw rolento) and give him speed on par with cammy. Now what makes you believe that Guy is faster than Vega?

Your really underestimating Vega and Overestimating cody. The Guy is good, but he's just a Street Fighter. Compare that to Vega who's Shadowloo's Top assassin and a memeber of the "Shi-Ten-Oh". I put Guy in their to give them a fair shot.
