But by trying to ban gay marriage, then the freedom of gays in general is being limitted. By only giving gays such options as civil unions, your are promoting "separate but equal" policy, and that is unconstitutional.

You have the right to beleive what you want, but not to enforce your religion on politics thereby forcing everyone else to live the kind of live you think they should live 🙂

That was rude and frankly wrong. I take any practice that segregates or partially disenfranchizes groups of Americans VERY seriously. If you think gay marriage is a one sided issue, or a non-important one, you are gravely mistaken.

I don't follow any "faith," I follow the Person Jesus Christ. You still evaded the question.

Why not (why aren't you 100% sure that if you died right now that you would go to be with the Lord Jesus in Heaven? What is your salvation based on?

I'm an athiest, although I do believe there is someone out there, somewhere, I just don't know who. I am certainly not Christian/Catholic, that's for sure.

I'm not an Athiest as I don't hate religion, I believe there COULD be something, as there are tons of unexplained things, but until I see for myself some sort of Proof, I'm not religous

Mainly atheist, but I do adapt the positive aspects of some religions as guidelines. But those are after all just reflections of common sense, respect and honesty, and would exist without religion anyway.

Are you mad? Compared to certain groups Catholics are remarkably liberal. Some of the puritans and Brethren today - they take uptight to a whole new level.

As I said, Born Agains are the current "most uptight" (but may not be historically, I haven't given it much thought)
