Oh it's something he has always been good at, even going back to his WCW days.

I remember even when he came in to the WWF at first, his taunting of Chyna and the like even back then was still class A material. Even last week making fun of Ziggler et al.

Plus, we don't have many faces who can trash talk with any real viciousness. As good as they might be in the ring, the faces tend to be good natured and laid back rather than out-right mean.

It is a good change of pace to have.

Of course I don't really follow wrestling anymore 😛

It's a shame WCW kept Jericho in the mid to lower card ranks.

They did that to a lot of the cruiserweight division which was awesome by the way.

You should give it a look. You never know, you might like it. I had completely gone off wrestling for years until I got pulled back in.

Lol @ the Goldberg hate in the last couple of pages.

The dude was a phenom. I can't think of a single guy who could work technical maneuvers and be a powerhouse at the same time as well as him. Not surprising, when you consider how much of a complete athlete he was.

Everyone else was a bunch of bloated bodybuilders at best, Goldberg could annihilate you, and do so quickly and with amazing agility. He had more of a presence then than Taker even in Wrestlemania does now. The crowd never became more alive than it did with Golberg's theme hitting the arena.

He was a phenom but he wasn't technical at all. He was aggressive and a good athlete and happened to get a great gimmick that the crowd loved.

But the fact that Goldberg doesn't still wrestler should be a big red flag telling you he wasn't sustainable as the Undertaker or other greats.

He was a massive flair up but then fizzled out after the pretty lights got boring.

And there are plenty of wrestlers that caused the crowds to go bonkers when they entered the ring.

and the main event between Punk and Jericho was also good. I just hope we'll see Jericho actually win some matches now that he's back.

* Jericho's WWE returns are getting monotonous... i hope this time, he's really a face and cutting promos like he once used to do, even rivaling that skill with the Rock...

Sure he was technical, when he had to be.

He pulled off submission maneuvers with a great amount of agility and quickness.

Goldberg's peak > Taker at any point in his career.

Peak of wrestling was the 90s. In the 90s, Undertaker was busy being Stone Cold's ***** constantly. In the 90s, Goldberg was more or less carrying WCW by himself, and was at the top of the heap just like Austin.

Taker is big in a small pool. That's it.

I prefer Taker, personally. Though I prefer Rock to both.

*reason.

that interviewer was such a douche.

The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin are at the top looking down on everyone.

Just because he used a submission hold doesn't make him technical.

Technical means execution of the moves and how well he did them. Considering what most wrestlers thought of him as a wrestler he wasn't very technical at all.

Goldberg didn't carry the WCW. The thing that put WCW on the map was the NWO. That concept is what carried the company, so much so that they started having to over do it with multiple factions and types.

Jesus Christ this post is f*cking dumb.

Just watched Raw. SPOILERS follow...

Mark Henry vs Khali - Crap. Cringe-inducing, tbh.
Chris Jericho vs Daniel Bryan - Very decent match. This is what you get when you have two masters of their craft in the ring together.
Zack Ryder vs Jack Swagger - Poor Ryder is basically a jobber at this point. His constant twitter tirades don't help.
Cody Rhodes vs The Miz - Should have been much better. Not that it was bad; it just didn't last very long. I like the Miz, though I'm not certain why I like him so much.
Alberto Del Rio vs Damien Sandow - A waste. Was looking forward to seeing Sandow move up a card, but it ended up being very short and not at all what it could have been.
Kofi vs Wade Barrett - Pretty good match, though these two have worked together so much that they make the complicated look easy.
Kane Vs Dolph Ziggler - A decent match, even if Kane isn't allowed to be the big, red, monstrous presence that he once was. Was surprised that Ziggler didn't win, tbh, but this only means that Kane will most likely get worfed in the elimination chamber match.

Speaking of, the lineup has been revealed:

Swagger
Bryan
Orton
Kane
Henry
Jericho

I hope Jericho wins, personally. And it was nice to see him do promos again.

The Rock's promo was... Meh. Funny, but he's not building as much heat for the match with Punk as he should.

Also, seriously, these Fandango ads need to stop.

Like I said I never liked Mark Henry as a wrestler. His gimmik is old, he was never very fluid. All he is is a mass of muscles that can run forward and do the simplest movies. I hated when he got the big push all of a sudden. A few months back or when ever it was.

He should always have been a group enforcer and mid-card kind of guy. I remember watching a match between him and the Big Show, something I was excited for cause Big Show has always been one of my favorites, but it was dull and boring.

Kali isn't much better imo, except he at least as the height of a Giant which can help carry you.

TBH, Henry was carrying Khali during the match, which is pretty sad. Henry, like you said though, isn't very fluid. I don't expect him to win the chamber match, and I hope he doesn't.

One match I forgot to mention was Brodus Clay teaming up with Tensai (Albert) in a tag match with Primo and Epico. I know I liked the idea of seeing the two of them together, and they didn't disappoint. They work very well together, and have great chemistry. With the tag department losing Team Rhodes Scholars, I'm glad we got to see a new, solid team coming aboard.

That is pretty sad. I miss the days of Kane and Undertaker Prime and the Big Show Prime.

They were good Big Men who could do a lot of good things.

How is the Tag Team division doing? I miss the days where there were a bunch of really good one.

It's floundering, tbh. One of the best tag teams going is finished (Rhodes Scholars that I mentioned earlier), and apart from them you have maybe 3, 4 half-decent tag teams. The current champions Daniel Bryan and Kane, who are both great wrestlers, are looking like they're going to split up too.

It's the worst I've seen it in a long time, to be honest.
