Wow that Raw was rough, can WWE really not understand why they lost 100k subscribers since wrestlemania. I'm not renewing which is sad because i was a big supporter of the network but the constantly bad tv and pitifully horrendous ppv are just to much.
You know you fuq'd up when Brie bella is in the main event and I say this as a fan of hers.
Raw was garbage. The only thing I enjoyed, was Ambrose making Rollins lose and Ambrose vs Del Rio.
The WWE are doing absolutely nothing with Paige..she does not even wrestle. I am sure AJ vs Paige will be horrible at SummerSlam.
The main event is a contract signing between Brie Bella and Stephanie? I have no words for this bull sh!t.
So I'm just gonna stand in amazement that it looks like both the Uso's & Sheamus won't be defending at SummerSlam.
I wonder if WWE regrets alienating millions of its fans in order to appeal to children & Soccer moms, i mean believe me i get the sponsors are better but WWE hasn't been this weak financially since the Hokey Nash era with guys like the mountie, repoman, bastion booger & the goon. It was literally the same exact problems we have today in wrestling only this time Lex Luger remained on top for ten years.

Agreed. I was actually thinking of purchasing the network but the way these past few Raws and Smackdowns have been, hell no!

Not the qualities i was thinking of, really.
Cena is an ambassador. He's a cross over star, loved by kids, known by non wrestling adults.
He's as apt to show up on Kelly & Michael as the Kids Choice Awards. He's done movies, commercials, he's a Make a Wish staple. A household name.
Reigns is nowhere near that.
Wrestling wise, those burials, thats the suits doing whats "best for business". In the end the man's an employee.
Also, kayfabe or not, the man's fought wars in that ring.
He's come back, still at top form from at least two major surgeries, each time sooner than he should have because the company wanted/needed him to.
He's headlined pretty much every PPV event in the company at one time or another.
Fought every type of match against the top stars of the last 20 years.
He's John frikkin' Cena.
Again, Reigns has got a ways to go.
I've never seen an adult wearing a cena shirt out in public, his crossover appeal is with kids & moms. Those people aren't buying the network period.
Multiple, multiple people have come out and said Cena books himself. Watch edge on Jericho's podcast talk about how Cena layed out the finish to the nexus match at Survivor Series even after both Edge & Jericho said it was horrible and would devalue a bunch of up and coming stars.
If Cena wants to put someone over he will, but he never does.

Cena is in himself a glass ceiling. He might be a decent guy outside of wrestling, but I would be very surprised if all of those decisions were Vince's ideas.
Cena is, for the most part, horrible at putting people (and matches) over.
And it's a shame too, as he's capable of it.
I even left off Ryback, a guy i truly believe could be the top heel in the company after Lesnar. If Ryback had beaten Cena by powerbombing him threw the top of the ambulance it would have made him. Period and Cena would have legitimate tough guy status if he showed up on Raw the next night looking to fight.
Ryback has real charisma & can talk really well and for whatever reason just naturally generates heat but instead hes a tier 4 guy in the company who is teaming with a guy who just doesn't click.
Cena elevated him 😗
Tbf i like Curtis Axel, he's Randy Orton with out the push and the looks but he is definitely a black hole of charisma. If he toned down the weird facial expressions i could see him fueding with Dolph down the line for the IC strap.
So what happened with the Nation2.0 did they pull the plug already? I guess Rhodedust or whatever they are called takes priority now but idk if people will remember this angle if they sit on it much longer... though i guess it could be worse, the Wyatts could be being jobbed out to them.
I'm for sure not looking to get into a prolonged Cena back an forth. Everyone here already has their minds made up on him.
I do agree Ryback missed a career moment on that ambulance.
He can still pull a singles turn around IMO. The fans like him. Maybe lose the unitard, segue into singles matches...
And what did happen with the Nation tease? Been waiting on more recruitment.
