I cant believe he would do something like that. That really sux if he did. He was a great wrestler and it would tarnish who he was, he would be labeled as a murderer.

Wow, that surprised me, I wasn't in any hurry to turn on Raw last night because of the McMahon angle, and then I saw that, that surprised the hell out of me, he was one of my favourite wrestlers. He represented Canada really well.

I can't believe that he killed his family and himself, it seems really weird. (If he actually did).

Yeah it is still being investigated and they just assume that's what happened.

It's being reported that Benoit Strangled his wife and smothered his son, and hung himself.

ATLANTA - Pro wrestler Chris Benoit strangled his wife and smothered his son before hanging himself in his weight room, a law enforcement official close to the investigation told The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Authorities also said they are investigating whether steroids may have been a factor in the deaths of Benoit, his wife and their 7-year-old son. Steroid abuse has been linked to depression, paranoia, and aggressive behavior or angry outbursts known as “roid rage.”

“We don’t know yet. That’s one of the things we’ll be looking at,” said Fayette County District Attorney Scott Ballard. He said test results may not be back for weeks.

We can't be too sure of what drove him to do it. No doubt it was wrong, but we don't know everything.

Yes I am. Benoit did it. All evidence points to him and only him. Read various wrestling internet sites as well as WWE.com. Also check out Yahoo.com. He did it. He is gonna burn in hell.

I don't know where you get your information from, but that's clearly wrong as his son was killed on Saturday (his wife was killed Friday).

Also, the press conference revealed that Benoit placed Bibles next to both his wife's body and his son's body (but not his own). His wife was bound up by wrists and feet, and then wrapped in a towel. Died via asphyxiation.

His son was smothered in his sleep apparently (no signs of struggle). And then Benoit killed himself with a cord to one of his weight machines.

The authorities found prescribed steroids, but the assumption they were working under was that they were not under use.

That makes two of us. I wouldve never thought he was capable of something so brutal. Strangle his wife, watch a PPV and then kill his son, thats one cold Bas***d! I wonder if it was such a great idea from the WWE to do atribute show now that the details are pretty much known. They dropped a storyline for someone that it seems didnt deserve it!
