This is horrible.. I don't believe Chris is in Heaven now, and remember God said VENGEANCE is Mine.. It says in the Bible that if u harm a child it would be better to tie a rope around your neck with a huge rock hooked on the other side and throw yourself in the ocean and try to stay afloat then kill yourself and go right to him!! Jesus prob said "Depart from me forever, for I never knew you" 🙁

Eddie would not be proud

Eddie isnt proud.

This story creeps me out.

I've always liked Chris as a wrestler. I always thought it was part of his act to have that killer look on his eyes. After reading all the developments I feel so disgusted and disturbed.

This is just jaw droppin.

he could have been very sick and had little or no control of his actions.

just thought i'd throw that out there for all the fire and brimstone hell-damners.
quite honestly id rather see people make inappropriate jokes about this than see all the seething venom about who's going to rot in hell forever and ever...imho

Chris is an all time great wrestler...but to do such a thing is unforgivable.

Is he part of the WWEHOF now???

Jesus Christ...

I admired his wrestling skills, and I can only hope God forgives him because apparentely he won't forgive himself.

Shame such a fine athlete had to go like this...really at a loss of words.

PS - I really doubt it would be a good move for WWE to put Benoit in the hall of fame. So far everything points to him being a double murder suicider...and that's just wrong.

Yeah well said. He probably won't be in the Hall of Fame.

Chris? Definitely not.

In fact, if you go on the official WWE website, they removed almost all mention of Benoit. Even under the Wrestlemania XX DVD, it says "Triple H defends his World Heavyweight Championship against Shawn Michaels", notice Benoit has been removed, lmao!

Pretty much everything related to Benoit (minus the story on what happened and his actual Superstar page) has been deleted. All the merchandise has been removed. Search for "Benoit" on wweshop.com, everything has been "discontinued".

So it's a safe bet to say that he will never become a Hall of Famer.

Murderers don't get in the Hall of Fame. Damn who knew that kinda shit could be goin through his head.

I also agree. Reports say that his neighbors never heard any serious family feuds or anything in the past, and he never showed any real violent acts outside of his job. I think he was under the influence of something.

Roid Rage anyone?

Thats what it was.

That is no excuse for what he's done.

it make me sad, he along with rvd were/are my favs and to see him end like this is really f'ed up...i wonder if the whole eddie dying took a toll on him...but even if he is a murder people should remember him for the great wrestler he was, not the mistakes that ended his life.

and maybe there is an excuse...the steroids probably took their toll on his sanity...you dont know what was going on between him and his wife.

he lives in a county thats likes 30 mintues from my house...creepy...i wonder if he'll have a funeral?

Steroids are not responsible.

"STAMFORD, Conn., June 26, 2007 – World Wrestling Entertainment is stunned and saddened by the details released by local authorities concerning the double homicide-suicide involving Chris Benoit, his wife, Nancy, and his son, Daniel.

However, WWE is concerned with the sensationalistic reporting and speculation being undertaken by some members of the media following the press conference held by the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department and the District Attorney. During the press conference, the investigating authorities made the following points, all of which run contrary to the media speculation that "roid rage" was a factor in the senseless murders and suicide:

1. The authorities stated that all drugs found in the house were believed to be legal prescriptions.

2. Steroids were not, and could not, be related to the cause of death (asphyxiation). Authorities had no factual basis to speculate as to Benoit’s state of mind, and rightly did not do so.

3. Toxicology tests have not even been completed, so there is no current evidence that Benoit even had steroids or any other substance in his body. In that regard, on the last test done on Benoit by WWE's independently administered drug testing program, done on April 10, 2007, Benoit tested negative.

4. The physical findings announced by authorities indicate deliberation, not rage. The wife's feet and hands were bound and she was asphyxiated, not beaten to death. By the account of the authorities, there were substantial periods of time between the death of the wife and the death of the son, again suggesting deliberate thought, not rage. The presence of a Bible by each is also not an act of rage.

5. WWE strongly suggests that it is entirely wrong for speculators to suggest that steroids had anything to do with these senseless acts, especially when the authorities plainly stated there is no evidence that Benoit had steroids in his body, pending the toxicological reports, and that they had no evidence at this time as to the motive for these acts.

WWE is continuing to monitor the ongoing investigation being conducted by local authorities."
