The reason why he stands there and just takes hits and then follows up with a simple power move or strike is because they want to portray him as invincible and unstoppable.

nope, not at all. i used to find it a bit boring, but it did give the younger wrestlers a chance to fight the big boys, something you rarely get these days.

I always think of SS as the 3rd biggest. The Royal Rumble is 2nd. I think theyll build his return a bit more until SS.

oh ya i forgot about the royal rumble.
i sure hope they keep the hype going for a while. that was a good move to have HHH's theme music, but instead king booker came out. that sure got the crowds hope up so now they're really begging for his return.

they still do that every now and then, but certainly not as much. it's kind of fun to see funaki get beat up by mark henry every now and then 😄

They do that to see hows the fans react to a wrestler. Im pretty sure Mondays was pretty positive.
