They way I see it is that there are 3 possible opponents for Randy Orton at No Mercy.

1.Mr. Kennedy, he is involved in no fued and he was wrestling cena when he was injured so that my play a role as to why it is him
2.HBK I have read someone's interpretation of the saveus 22 videos and its a little convincing but i doubt it.

3. Chris Jericho that would make a good return though i hope they don't screw orton out of the title again by changing the plan's at the last second,

theres one thing for "f**king" the boss daughter, but wait a sec... its not just a short term thing is it? they have a child together, so i dont really see that as him trying to use her to his advantage to pursue his own career.
I'm not sure whether he intended to or not. His career has benefited from his relations w/Steph though.

hes a decent wrestler.
A matter of opinion. In mine he hasn't done anything all that great. He's average @best.

his in ring persona fits him well. hes not explosive
Damn right he's not. He's too fragile to be. His leg exploded just doing a spinebuster

it suits him well and i've always enjoyed watching him wrestle, more-so than steve austin. he sticks his fingers up and the crowd goes wild. "oooo look, barbarity, i can associate with that.... lets cheer him" etc.
Trust me, Austin's a faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better wrestler than Cripple H ever was. Austin pulled a "Jay-Z" & "dumbed down for the audience"(wrestled his ass off against Shamrock a while back). See some of his "WWF Ringmaster" work. He wasn't Benoit level, but he was pretty damn good. He was around Bret Hart level, almost as good as Bret. Cripple H ain't nowhere near that level. He just ain't got the talent.

rumours going around that y2j or ortons gonna win the belt, so expect a standoff between these.
As long as they do it right(very unlikely). Has Y2J made appearances yet?

Hehe Mr Glass...what about Stone Colds neck? The fact is Triple H would have been a rising star anyways by the way he was trained by the great Killer Kwolski...he just happened to fall in love with Ms Stephanie Mcmahon. The storyline of him and Steph together rocked. Speaking of The Rock he was great in the ring but was not a wrestling genious. I wont speak on Stone Cold cause everyone was on his nuts way more than Hogan in the 80's.
Stone Cold had a severe spinal injury from the late great Owen Hart's piledriver. He doesn't tear a muscle or break something every 5 minutes like Cripple H does. If HHH wrestles regularly & makes it to 2008 w/out getting hurt I'll be surprised. Saturn was trained by Killer too. He's far better than HHH in the ring but he'll never go as far 'cuz he wasn't that great on the mic. Rock was great in the ring AND on the mic. Better than HHH @both

HHH has only had 2 bad injuries. 😬

First off let me state that I do like Stone Cold better but Triple H had a lot of backstage influence even before he met steph. He was part of the cliq which included him,HBK,Scott Hall Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman (aka xpac). And actually if it weren't for the MSG involving the cliq incident stone cold may never have been as big as he was or he might became big later on in his career.

you mentioned that we all know why that is as to what i said about him being calm and calculating, and then straight after you mention that i seem to think its like a real sport? well.... him being calm and calculating is part of the character, thus obviously showing its part of entertainment.

austin dumbed down? whats to say triple h hasnt? his charcter is the only character hes really had, sure, there were alternatives BACK ages ago, BUT hes been triple h for god knows how long now, about 8 years? you're not going to see his full capabilities, much like austin, much like a lot of wrestlers, simply because its the character that dictates this, not teh ability of the wrestler himself.

plus, the man must be doing something right. hes a heel, and a lot of people dont like him. yet, he has his large group of fans, and a large group of people who dont like him.

i wouldnt say i was either. i just respect him for what he can do, what he has done, and for teh enjoyment i've had watching him wrestle.

Now that's really a matter of opinion. You make it seem like Triple H breaks and falls apart in every match....he only had two injures that were major. Be honest you just hate the guy.

I don't hate him, but I honestly think he's hurt the biz. & I know there is a large number of waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better technical wrestlers out there. I recognize true greatness when I see it. HHH looks very unfamiliar to me 🙂

I've seen Austin wrestle his @ss off(even in WWF), I've seen HHH back before he was HHH although he was better than he is now, he was still nothing to write home about. I'm not saying he's the worst ever, but cats act like he's the best. He's not even amongst the best. There are maaaaaaany that are better. The bigger HHH got the more lousy his movement in the ring got.

The same can be said for Austin, he was a heel too. Austin ended up being even more popular than HHH is.

I've no problem w/that, but I just don't see him the way you do. I see him as a man obsessed w/padding his resume' @the expense of more talented people

Some people just dont understand how the business works... HHH is hated by the majority of fans but loved by others, that is the perfect heel.
Just like Ted Dibiase or Jeff Jarrett, he's loved by some, hated by others...

I dont give a shit whether you love or hate HHH, he's a great asset to WWE, regardless of his backstage dealings...

The very fact that he was hated during evolution then loved during DX proves HHH is a great WWE employee (im reluctant to say wrestler haha)

brainchild, i can see what you mean about there being more talented than him. but lets be honest, talent doesnt make up everything you need to be a wrestler. triple h is decent enough in the ring, he has presence, he can use the mic well, he has his character and it fits in well with the wwe. yeah you can be a great technical wrestler, but if you havent got the mic skills, acting ability or general look you're screwed from the start.

I know. That's what I was saying about why HHH got farther than Perry Saturn did.

They were both trained by Kowalski, but HHH got farther 'cuz of his mic skills even though Saturn was better in the ring. I've never said HHH was lousy on the mic. He just strikes me as average in the ring.

Ditto. I seem to remember him being injured a LOT. If HHH wrestles regularly & makes it to 2008 w/out getting hurt I'll be surprised. I'm not sure about the 'roids. He doesn't have definition anymore.
