Surfer's power comes directly from Big G's own. So if Surfer is that Upgraded, Then Big G is down graded. Becuz Surfer was always said to have 1% of Big G's power.

Do you honestly think Galactus upgraded Surfer so greatly that he is now capable of defeating two Galactus-level beings?
That would make Galactus himself realitively powerless.

I'm not even sure he could take Hulk and Superman (and that's the least dynamic combination I could think of from the 4 characters placed against him).
Surfer could drain Hulk's gamma fast I guess, if Hulk doesn't continue to get enraged. but that would still require that Surfer remain stationary for a moment or two, which is enough time for the other 3 to knock him out/capture him/encase him in some exotic forcefield...

The Hulk is the least of the Surfer's concerns. This fight would be taking place primarily whilst flying.
I mean, pit the Hulk and ANYONE that the Surfer can beat against the Surfer, and the Surfer still wins....Just because he can stay away from the Hulk for long enough to beat the other character, and then deal with the Hulk. The Hulk simply isn't even a threat to the Surfer.

Exactly. How can Galactus upgrade surfer to this point when Big G didn't have the power on his own to defeat them? THat would be PIS at it's worst.

if Thanos can augment himself with the Power Cosmic, it would suggest that Surfer too accesses the Power Cosmic independent of Galactus, once Galactus has made him capable of it.
still, I'm waiting till I see the Surfer T&A issue (😕), before I posit anything as tendentious as Surfer = Galactus.

Thanos doesn't amp himself with the power cosmic. He sythesises it. And he amps with mystical and Tech as well. But even he can't amp infinitely.

GL can stalemate Surfer on his own. ANd GL's don't really get blitzed. Thier Auto SHields see to that. Also, why would Superman be the first one to Reach Surfer? GL and Thor have faster space traveling SPeed than Superman.
I've never seen Thor travel at Surfer-esque speeds. don't recall him having that ability.
Superman's the one with the Saturn and back in minutes feat, so it stands to reason that he'd be the one chasing Surfer.
as for the GL stalemate thing... create a thread and see what arguments come up. I'm not sure if any GL could really hold up against Surfer, one on one, for very long. the range of powers that the Surfer packs, the stamina and durability are pretty awesome.
GLs used to run out of power after a while, not sure if that's changed significantly now.
