wow first post here and i have a feeling im going to have my butt handed to me for asking this question =_=;
i read the rules and all that but i dont grasp the 'draft' concept and would like someone someplace somewhere to explain it to my little brain in a manner in which my skull wont want to escape from the rest of me in a not so clean turn of events.

Eh? (one hell of a first post mine involved how GL would beat IM because of speed)
I don't think there are any slots left for the tourney anyway.

Eh im interested in the tourney didnt think id get a shot yet, gatta admit be kinda stupid to sit on my question till another one poped up. might as well ask now.
just trying to grasp the 'draft' and stuff abit better.
Each person who entered the tourney (12 of us) has to select 3 charcaters to combinme into an amalgam, the draft just means that we get set dates/times to make each of the three selections.
Basically it's there to stop the first 1 or 2 guys in from taking all the good characters.
Each draft period we PM our choices to the tourney runner (Darth Goober) who will then tell us if that draft is above the power limit or if they have already been chosen by someone else.

In the draft we're selecting our characters,as this is an amalgam tourney(fusion characters) We make three choices.A character to act as the mind,One for the body and another for powers.
The mind character will dictate what equipment and technology your character has or can create,and if they have Telekenisis or telepathy,that would be a mind pick.
Body is what body the mind is put inside,for example Reed richards in the Thing would mean that Reed would control Bens body,but not have stretching powers.
Powers are a third pick,and it allows for any other abilities.Say if you used Reed/thing and then used Cyclops for power,you'd have Reed Richards intelligence in Things body,with the ability to shoot optic blasts.

Well if you had someone possess Proffesor X's body would they be able to use his Tp?I always thought thier minds gave them their powers.
I think the only thing you get with the mind category is tech/intelligence/fighting ability/reaction speed.

Really? well is it as if Lobo no matter what you want from him, cuz he is lobo its off limits? i understand his body being something of Taboo but his mind also? im not calling him dumb, but im not calling him smart. so if i wanted could i snag his brain? or due to the classification of the rest of him its off limits.
