What do you guys think about what Delph said and the Matter Manips? I just looked up Shimmer, and thats what she does. As does Cosmic King....I dunno, it kinda makes them super uber 😬

what I mean is Telepaths like Emma Frost could mindrape a ton of people and shut down their brains however that doesn't mean Emma frost wasn't allowed in the tourney

Matter manipulation needs to be re-addressed also. It would fall under the One Trick Pony rule I'm promoting. Matter manipulation directly on your opponent's being may be banned but I can think of a million ways to use that ability indirectly and still be untouchable. I think those abilities should be Herald level tourney only. Ironman level should just be energy manipulators, psi, tk, and the like. When you start having characters that can wave their hand and turn dirt into VX gas or vibranium it gets to be too much.

Yeah but people can still change characters to make a similar combo to what I'm thinking of.

Matter manip is a pretty uber power ... definitely over Iron Man's power level.

Like you said she could mind rape a large percentage of the planet and she can turn to the hardest substance know to the real world. Diamond or pure carbon. WTF!!!

I say don't ban powers just the flat out level the people with them acquire. Which is IMO totally different when you wanna mess with these guys.

Now that being said I do understand baning things like Mimic. Seeing as he is automatically on the playing field of almost any mutant you bring to fight plus whatever else he already had.
