Kids should be educated about sex, but not how to do it, but what happens when you do it. they must be aware of the consequences and the responsibilities.

as for these children, they should be punished for what they did. and should be talked to about what they did.

Sex is not some secret told by adults. Kids learn from other kids. Anyone who have been a kid knows that.

I think kids think independently of their parents. If your kid is trouble its because he/she is that way, the parents did not necessarily caused that. What happens is that parents do not want to assume responsability for the acts independently of their kids being good kids or not.

Kids learn too much about sex from media these days. they learn all these stuff and hide the fact that they learned everything they thought they needed to kow from adults. So they weren't informed about the ups and downs and the responsibilities and etc... sheesh. but sometimes its the parents' fault that they don't screen what their children watch, listen to or something, but when they aren't around the kids sneak out and go watch something about sex, they don't understand it that well, hides it from the parents, and the cycle repeats again until the child does something real stupid.
