Ah. oh well then. But can you tell me if the ones labeled 40s Superman are actually from comics in the 40s? I mean...the one you posted of him going lightyears. I thought Golden Age Supes could only jump.
He was eventually able to fly. His powers just took longer to develop.
I have some Golden Age scans, I'll post them when I'm not feeling so lazy. 😄
That wasn't Golden Age, it was early Silver Age.
What you said.
40s Superman (Pre - Silver Age) travels light - years in instants and back in time to Krypton:

You said 40s Superman. If the comic is from the 40s, which I am asking, it has to be Golden Age. Silver Age starts in the 60s, I thought.
From the New Gods respect thread, thanks to Rorschach for the scan: Superman takes an attack equal to the magnetic energy of a hundred galaxies and says he only may be in trouble:

that's just the best. I've always loved pre-crisis superman, but ive always hated the weakness with kryptonite sh!t. I specially hate the one where anyone can get his powers when they get hit with high voltage electricity while they are in physical contact and both of them are holding onto a green krytonite.
