And, sure, an essay can be written.

But it doesn't matter how long you filibuster, Captain America isn't getting transcendent, and I very much doubt that the Hulk is going to be sitting there, either. 🙂.

I you actually sat down and wrote your dissertation on the ranking of a comicbook character I think most of the forum would be willing to give him/her that placement just so that if someone asked why he/she was there we could show them the document.

Val, you seem to be following this pretty well. Once you feel like there's a consensus on some Ultimate characters (and the others that have been getting voted upon) you can add them in and I'll update the list.

Mungi, I dunno. Few will. You know the drill. I trust you to make smart decisions...just be sure you're not believing the hype on any of them too much. There seems to be an awful lot of heralds on that list, and they might not have anything on some of the high metas with impressive showings. But if you're confident about it, go for it unless people raise objections.

I think we can hold off placing any of the Ultimates until the end of Ultimate Power. Particularly Thor, Hyperion and the Hulk.

Namor and Doom should both be well established low heralds.

Two more comics isn't really a reason to hold them off the list. We have enough information, when theres now about 4 teams around there, I doubt we will get many power showing's from that many individuals.

Curious; should we take whatever anime/novel characters off the list?

The mixed genre list in the versus forum exists for precisely that reason, no?

Well if anyone wishes for me to prove why I think their that level I would be happy to do so.

Ex. Marrina threatened to alter the entire ocean landcape and shruged off blows from Pulsar and Thor like they were nothing, SHaman has saved all of reality, Snowbird can transform into Wendigo and even the Great Beasts, Belasco wanted to use Witchfire to take over the multi-verse, etc.

Actually, I think 2 more comics is, especially when they're bound to be action filled.
