The heck?! I put it to discussion and most wanted Ultimate characters on the list. And they're mainstream non-manga comics, so there's no forum policy to go against by adding them.
We've consistently not allowed anime/manga on this forum, so if anything I'm being consistent, not hypocritical.

lulz. Gotta draw the line somewhere buddy. That's all there is to it. There isn't a clear distinction when you get near the edges of "comics" and toward "manga." So I make a decision and stay to it, unless otherwise convinced.
Same as the angry PMs I used to get running the vs. forum. You're not going to please everyone, so the best you can do is decide yay or nay on a character, then stick to it for anyone.
If you want to make a legitimate case for inclusion, feel free to do so. I'll listen, as will others. To this point, however, I've seen less of that than simple finger-pointing.

It's a separate universe, but so is the Ultimate Universe as well. If I'm not mistaken, Mangaverse Thor has been used on the VS forum.
The only thing that would classify it as "manga" is the art. Why is K' allowed, when the Mangaverse characters aren't? Because it's supposed to be a comic, despite manga art?

We have plenty of characters from separate universes on the list, and we're debating whether or not we should allow them on the list. Soooo that's not really an argument, is it?

I haven't even read this thread, but I know Manga characters would cause an uproar almost parallel to when Delph was Delphing...
Or something along those lines.
