those stats are waaaaay off. first off, Gargan can grow, and does, and amps. (even if he is a jobber, minus his first appearance with The Sinister Twelve, what happened after that is anyones guess.).
second, i know someone that works on those handbooks for marvel, and even he says those scales are off for everything and shouldnt even be looked at. think about this, the highest strength scale is 100+....
some characters can lift 2,000+. does that mean anyone with a full meter can go mano-e-mano with another? of curse not. Gargan shows about as bad as Ares most of the time, but neither are actually anything near weak.
ill be back with some scans (that unfortunatly wont show much...sigh, what a waste of a character)
Veom/Mac Gargan:
boy, i wish there was more to show, but the powers that be just choose to job this guy...
alot. he of course appeared in Thunderbolts. His feats amount to him losing control alot, and
eating someones arm. then he moves on to Dark Avengers, and becomes the new Spider-Man donning
the symbiote appearance of his rival. there, well he loses control alot, and and turns into a
complete wuss who is afraid of Bullseye. lastly, he shows up in some other Dark Reign books,
Fantastic Four were he does, well nothing but look scary, and Spider-Man, where he takes the
mother of beatings from a Spider-man prepped with sonics, and Sue Storm. thank Marvel for jobbing
another character with good potential. lets move on them to some at least decent showings for
the old Scorpion.

Venom eats an Atlantean hostage. shows his variable size here as well
by growing extremly huge.

sucks to be the villian. in a strange and cool turn of events, Carmillas power
to absorb and refine toxins, absorbs some of Gargans symbiote, and forms a version
of it herself, then uses it to smack Gargan around, who ends up retreating.

oh, thats what it sounded like you meant. i just wanted to be sure.
anyways, Gargan is a great character, unfortunatly, like some others i can think of, Apocalypse, Ares, ect, suffers from bad writing.
also, Brock isnt Venom anymore....deal with it. its just a comic character. im pretty sure the only frownable thing here is to post after every other post in a row in a Respect Thread with bashes on the character, though i could be wrong.
