Can you handle the Truth?

So I was reading this again
"I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
--Jesus Christ"

So Jesus is the middle man??? I've always hated the middle man, they always jack up the price and services, I would rather just go to the source and cut out the middle man. 😛

But...without Jesus you cannot go to the Father because you are a sinner. Jesus is the Mediator between the Father and humanity because He paid the consequences of our sins. Now anyone who desires to go to the Father in prayer (now) and at death (much later) can thanks to Jesus. But, you cannot just arbitrarily go to Heaven without asking Jesus Christ to save you from your sins. Jesus is the Savior so without Him no one can be saved from the harsh reality of the wages of sin.

There is no original sin; Adam and Eve did not ever exist. Therefore there is no "wages of sin", and Jesus did not die for that reason. Jesus was a revolutionary, and he know if he became a marter, then his movement would gain in strength. And over time, his movement captured the world. Jesus was a great man, but he was just a man. To make him a god is to take away the true greatness that is rightfully his.

You were born with a sin nature because of Adam. In addition, have you ever disobeyed your parents? Have you ever lied? Have you ever had sex without marriage? Have you ever taken the Lord's Name in vain? Have you ever used profantiy? Have you ever violated civic or federal laws? Have you ever stolen something? Have you ever gotten drunk? Do you hate anyone? Have you ever used recreational/illegal drugs?

Some of those require you to violate Biblical laws . . .

So just being born is a sin, way to go God. F us over for something your first creation did.

So where did you get all these "sins" from?

So a baby that doesn't stop crying when their parents tell them to be quite is sinning?

Where the hell in the Bible is this "Have you ever violated civic or federal laws?" or are you making things up again?

If this is a sin "Do you hate anyone?" then you are a sinner each and every day.

It is all manipulation. That is why I laughed earlier. 😉

I do not hate being what nature intended (whatever that means). God bless you chickenlover98.

"Honor thy Father and Mother." That's a big one (even made it into the Ten Commandments).

As for the child in particular, that's a fairly common type of question that has myriad answers from anyone with passing familiarity with study of Christianity. I believe the most common response is that someone without understanding (ie a child) cannot sin. There are a few answers with references to scripture.

"Give unto Caesar that which is Ceasar's."

"If a soldier orders you to carry his pack for a mile carry it for two instead."

Technically the second one can be taken as a way to screw the soldier over because at the time they could get in trouble if they had someone carry their equipment too long. Coolest thing I ever learned in a Bible study class.

He loves those who sin and prays for them to be saved. Which is a clever way of getting around hating them. That way he can work to destroy them but not have any sin to deal with.

God is not "F'ing" you over for something that Adam did because He has provided a way for you to be forgiven of all of your sins. It is not God's fault if you do not take advantage of salvation made available through His Son Jesus Christ.

But it is irrelevant where I got those sins from, you asked a question and I provided the answer.

Do not be foolish, a baby does not know what sin is--but you do.

I do not make anything up. God has ordained government, it is appointed by Him. So, to disobey civic laws i.e. those laws that do not contradict His Word is to disobey God.

Why do you feel that I hate anyone? I am on here proclaiming the good news without name-calling or cursing anyone. If I did not love people I would not make an effort to reach them with the gospel.

Clever way to destroy them? How is praying for someone to be saved a clever way to destroy them?

Praying for a person does not destroy them, nor does it same them. Prayer is a personal experience that has everything to do with the person praying, and has nothing to do with the person being praying for.

I believe people should pray not just with words but actions, through their actions showing that they understand the meaning of life, how natural molecular machinery gathered into a doll of flesh and blood was made only to be broken... how destiny of all that lives is to die, but life would never end for it is eternal and will always adapt, evolution is the answer the key.

The fit be they corrupt or uncorrupted will always triumph, the law of nature, survival of the fittest still plays a role in human societies, sometimes the clever, sometimes the fast, others the lucky, it will always be there to guide us.

Two separate thoughts.

You seem to be a fundamentalist neocon Christian. While you might genuinely pray for people who sin that doesn't stop you from trying to pass or overturn laws that affect them.

What is wrong with as you put it "trying to pass or overturn laws that affect people who sin?"
