God is not "F'ing" you over for something that Adam did because He has provided a way for you to be forgiven of all of your sins. I do not make anything up. God has ordained government, it is appointed by Him. So, to disobey civic laws i.e. those laws that do not contradict His Word is to disobey God.

They may not know what sin is as such but they know what right and wrong is because they have a conscience.

That's probably true. Every American science textbook, contains a huge disclaimer that sounds like an apology, and that emphasizes that evolution is a theory.

You're a sock, that much is obvious. Christianity is NOT the backbone of America. All one has to do is research the blatantly obivous aspects of the founding fathers to realize there is no prefernce to christianity. Many founding fathers were of a christian persussion, but many others went out of their way to make sure that preference was not the default religion of the constitution. They won, and no religion is cited as the defaut of the founding fathers. It might help if everyone who cited the constitution actually read the document.

I don't doubt the motivations of the "founding fathers". What is in question is the actual document they drafted. And no where in that document is a reference to a state diety or religious prefernce. Many of them were christians, and many of them were bright enough to understand their personal preference; while allowing and voting for the providence of that prefernce in others. I realize they were bright enough to understand the transient nature of their own religion when considering it against the reality of the religions on this planet. They change, they evolve and gods die.
and it wasn't written by old men. It was written by men who aren't much older than we are, collectively.
