You're asking us to make a banana. If we make a new banana...you claim its not a banana because its not exactly like the banana you know. Then, when we make a banana that IS exactly like the banana you know, you claim it is already one and therefore not new.

If you issue a logically impossible set of criteria, you will get no positive result. That does however not make your point valid, not prove your idea that your god did anything.

FALSE. RNA has been syntehsized on every level and has been used functionally and medically in living organisms.

TRUE. Scientists have created components of life, which is much mroe than your god ever did.

Actually I think scientists have created cells.

It makes sense really. Cells are very complicated biochemicals. We can create biochemicals, join them together to make cells.

That is a very simplistic way of putting it, but it's all true. There's no reason why it shouldn't happen. To say we can't create life is basically denying we're made up of atoms.

Not one peer reviewed article (if I can call it thus) has shown that life was created.

Exactly. You're the one claiming it has been.

I never claimed life was created.

Synthetic life is not life. Synthetic means artificial and anything that is artificial is not authentic (case in point astro turf is not real grass).

Life is a noun, determining a thing.

"Artificial" is a adjective, describing a thing.

Artificial life is still life just as an artificial sweetner is still a sweetner.

The same goes for RNA they all state that RNA components have been produced. RNA components are not true RNA.

No, RNA has been created, frequently. You don't even know what the components of RNA are.

With all due respect my God created everything that you see from nothing. He created real grass, real RNA, and real life. Nothing artifical or synthetic.

If its created...its synthetic...AS YOU HAVE SAID.

Again, you have made no points, only walled yourself into a logical corner.

Besides, you use synthetic clothing, synthetic drugs, synthetic materials in your computer, your home, your damn shampoo. You don't claim these are invalid, yet you suddenly have impossible standards when it comes to a molecule that in a cell instead of your shirt.

JIA you just proved Ordo's point.

He won't understand that.

Not good ones. Just because you understand the pieces doesn't mean you have the big picture. Regardless, its irrelevant to my points.

Why do scientists have to try so hard to do what God did the first time around? He didn't have to experiment through trial and error and multiple hours and years of research. And to top it all off God did it from nothing--no preexisting materials to work with.

Why can't scientists do this, take nothing and create life? Not synthetic life but real life.

It took millions of years for life to develop on Earth.

Quite being so demanding. Modern man's only been on this earth for about 200,000 years, and we've only started learning about complex cell biology in the last 100 or so. I'd say that's a pretty rapid jump in progress.

That is a lie of the devil. It took only six days.

Genesis 2:1-4
1 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
4 This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,

Quoting the devil is not FACT, JIA.

If your god was so amazing, why is he so lazy on the seventh day?

See? DEVIL.

Lazy? No, God was finished so He rested meaning He ceased to create. God does not need rest He neither slumbers nor sleeps.

Psalm 121:3
He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.

Psalm 121:4
Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep .

What did he do on the 8th day?

and the billions of days afterwards?

(besides not existing)

LAZY

God is still resting. Rest in the context below does not mean sleep or repose, it means to cease to create. God has ceased to create for the last six thousand years.

God is finished creating. It does not require years and years of research for him to create real life. So when He's done...He's done.

I didn't even see this post.

No God has ceased to create.

Jesus Christ died so that you could live forever with Him Ordo because He loves you. He is just waiting on you so that He can bless you with a new life.
