God created humans with the capacity for procreation.

Correct God's work ended on the sixth day and He saw that it was very good.

If it didn't happen the way that God described in His Word then it is a contradiction.

Intelligent design as you mean it goes contrary to the Bible.

The Bible should be interpreted literally except where it is clear that it should be understood metaphorically.
