Actually no, it is our own sins that seperate us from God.
so what's original sin ?

It is natural for human's to sin. That is not dark at all. To argue that you do not feel compulsions to do bad things is idiocy and/or a lie.
What do u mean by bad things ? If you mean "having gay sex outside of marriage" I will pretty much laugh, and disregard your point.
I lie all the time....when my unattractive freind asks me if I thnk he is attractive, I always say "yes, I thnk you are gorgeous" to make him feel better. I guess that's wrong. I should tell him the TRUTH, that I really thnk he is rather ugly...that's the right thing to do, God would want me to do that.

It is a sad truth. People lie, they cheat, they steal, everyone has done it in their life.
People lie, cheat, and steal for survival, not because "it feels good"...please open your mind and embrace understanding instead of judgement.

Are you struggling to survive?
Sorta..we all are. We all work to make ends meet. We all spend to have food and water.
I am also battling Depression on my own, without medication, and I am struggling to not fall into the series of hopelessness and low confidense that I used to.
I am struggling to overcome suffering, and to make sure I do not cause others to suffer.
Sorry if my personal goals are to heathen or pagan for you.

I doubt it and without this need to survive the impulse to sin is still present. It stems from the same selfishness that drives our survival urges.
I agree with you that selfishness is one of the most powerful roots of wrong. There is no argument there.
However, survival is the biggest natural urge of every living creature. That is no secret. Sex is the second.
Very few people actually possess sadistic urges, and those people are scientifically classified as psychopaths.

They are both natural to us. There is nothing pessimistic about that. It only becomes pessimistic when we concede to it. Which many Christians, unfortunately, do. The Bible actually presents a very optimistic view that it can be overcome through the power of Christ.
I have overcome by own anger, self-pity, and judgement of other people on my own.
Sure I may suffer from chronic cases of depression, but that's a physiological event.
I have become a better person through my own effort, no thanks to your Christ. If Jesus works for you, then I wish you the best, and I sincerely hope he stays with you. As for me, I need no such person. I only need to discipline myself.
If you would like me to elaborate, id be happy 2
