no such things as moral absolutes,or at least really hard to reach them.
Good=altruism evil=sadism
hitler was neither.he,as every body w/ and intention,believed he was doing the right thing and that in the end,it would better the world.he was definately not evil.his actions were horrific but that was the price.a good way to describe him is a ruthless consequentalist,doing things based off the old saying,the end justifies the means.the atrocties were just a means to an end.there have been far worst people.look at uday hussein,madame lalaurie,or idi amin.they were all completely sane sadists.they are truly evil
Well, there is evidence that Hitler was in the occult. I believe he could've been demon possessed. In any case, the attempted genocide of the Jewish people was an evil act. Yes, the man's actions were evil. Yet, Stalin was responsible for more deaths than Hitler...yet he doesn't get much attention...lol.

If somebody killed your mother, or anyone you were close to...would you still say that the killer was just doin' what he thought was right?

Are you high?

Maybe if you only count the holocaust, but not if you count the eastern front death toll as well (also a product of nazi racist ideology and not just a normal occurance of war).
One balled ****er was evil in my eyes.
In my opinion, ‘good’ and ‘evil’ exist only as human constructs. That does not, I hasten to add, rob them of validity. We simply need to agree on as near to a universal definition of ‘evil’ as we can. Something which involves mass murder based on economics, jealousy and ethnicity probably counts under most societies.
So I would submit Hitler as an example of evil.
Was he PURE evil? No. I don’t believe so. If you gain ANY sort of pleasure out of evil deeds then you can’t be ‘pure’ evil because you have experienced something associated with ‘good’: happiness. If pure evil existed I would liken it to a mindless virus.
I don’t believe in pure evil though.
Originally posted by BootsMy assumption is that an evil act is something that causes physical and emotional harm to other living creatures. In contrast, an act of good improves the wellbeing of another living creature. Another assumption of mine is that an evil person is someone who commits more acts of evil than acts of good. Hitler harmed more people than those to whom he gave aid. He also planned on committing acts of evil on many more people than the German population which he supposedly was trying to help. Therefore, yes, in my opinion Hitler was an evil man.

So you're saying he's evil because he's Jewish.Gotcha.
