bottom line:
yugi has mystical space typhoon and other strong cards play able in a real deck.

Kaiba has lots of nice monsters but his deck is way to tribute heavy.

bottom line: buy both. then take out the crap cards.

otherwise go with yugi deck.

Yu-Gi-Oh Banned & Restricted List
Effective August 25, 2004, this is the list of Forbidden and Limited Cards from Konami. (This list is directly from Upper Deck's Website).

Japanese, Asian-English and Counterfeit cards are not legal for use in Official Tournaments. The English print God cards are also not legal for tournament play.

World Wide card use policy
Effective as of May 1st, Upper Deck will eliminate the rule that only English cards designated for that territory can be used in tournament play. Meaning that any English card can be used around the world. Asian-English is still prohibited for any territory other than Asia.

bottom line: yugi has some of the staples like pot of greed, but kiba has more powerhouse singles. if possible buy both, or get kaiba then get yugi later.

i used to be a preety god player nto just relying on my lbue eyes but other cards as well but ever sicne it got stolen...... well i lost my passion for the game

why all the banning that totally sucks arse my entire deck consists of some of those cards including exodia the forbidden one

Ha that must suck! ^_^ I remember I used to play cardds with my friend up there Grey Fox! They were the good ol days. But Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards lost there fire and then there fire of popularity just died down! 🙁

grey fox someone stole from me too, he stole: 3 blue eyes, 1 blue eyes ultimate dragon, darck paladin, exodia and like other 80 of my best cards but i keep playing

raise your hands if you know what chaos, control, warrior blitz, burn, scientist 1 turn kill, fishermen deck, and beserk rush mean.

I hate it when ppl who stopped playing when fiend spell caster decks where played en mass act like they know the game...

Robo-Chocobo i know ultimate dragon isnt in english, i bought it in chinese because in china have only starter decks in english

but now i have 3 ultimate dragons

it still doesnt make it play legal.....

and while blue eyes ultimate is the strongest ATTACK wise, their are stronger cards.
