Hulk 2

Not sure what the final title will be, but Edward Norton has signed on to play Bruce Banner in the next Hulk installment and as the icing on the cake, Ang Lee will not be directing.

It is NOT Hulk 2.

The official title is The Incredible Hulk, it is not a sequel to that Ang Lee piece of shit, this is a redo. They want you to think that the other movie was never made and this will hopefully be the Hulk movie people have been waiting for.

when i heard hulk 2 i cried a little inside... however it being a 100% different project there is some hope. Can only hope they do as good as they did when they restarted the batman franchise with batman begins.

Besides the title has been known since November.

I didn't mind the Ang Lee version too much.... just hope this one's better. With Norton on the marquee it shouldn't disappoint.

yeah, even though im so glad they decided to disregaurd the travesty that was ang lee's movie. that has to be so shitty for a movie studio to come and say " yeah, your movie never happened" 😆

On the subject of the Fantastic Four 2 trailer mind, as trailers go, it was a very good trailer, but I have little to no hope for the film.

"its a redo","its like it never happened"...........hopefully this could apply to a new PLANET OF THE APES flick

lets hope the CGI is better
i caught a bit of THE HULK the other night and the cgi was dire
but after seeing the FF2 trailer and the Silver Surfer i guess not

This just in...in the new movie The Hulk will be gray instead of green.

Marvel ex-CEO Avi Arad, who now heads up production on almost all major Marvel films and is currently out promoting Spider-Man 3 due out in a few weeks (another awesome Marvel adaptation that you should be excited to see), spoke earlier today and hinted that he may not be the same color as we saw previously. Although he wouldn't confirm officially, the rumor is out that the Hulk may be grey this time.

During the interview when asked about Incredible Hulk and if they would use any CGI from the first film, Avi responded with:

[quote]“None, no. It's a new Hulk, new direction, new size, new color, new attitude. Anything that was done before is not in this movie. It's a very different kind of Hulk. It's more of a love story, it's more of a heroic Hulk. It's a kind of Hulk we loved in the show, so it's kind of more influenced by the show than anything else. It's very human, very touching, and huge action.”

When asked if there was any truth to a grey Hulk, he didn't respond initially and said “uh, we'll see”. Given what he said and that response, it's likely that the truth is that the Hulk is grey this time around. He was then asked about how they were able to get someone of such “caliber” as Edward Norton.

Avi said, “Let him read the script. Let him meet the team. Let him understand what the character is about, what the journey is about. And he actually turned down Hulk 1, so I guess second time around is more convincing.”

I'm against you on this one then. For a shift from the comics to the big screen I think the gray is a bit more believable. Not much, since he is a 17 foot tall freak, but even the littlest bit helps. The green in The Hulk came off as cartoony.

Hopefully in this redo they also don't have Hulk jumping over a mile in the air and being able to also jump a couple miles at a time...

You do realize that the original Hulk was gray right?

Also, about the jumping, they can have him jump high and far...but not to exaggerate it so much.

There is a reason people believe the Hulk is green y'know, and it's because its better than gray.
