USH'S MATRIX GAME 2006 FOURTH ASSIGNMENT (COMBAT)- 'The Real'

Started by Bespin Bart50 pages

My only problem with it is that we're all quite loaded down with weaponry. If someone stops us and notices that Melis is carrying a spear or that Mors has roughly five sharp pointy things or Burn and Ares are ready to shoot just about everything, we're slightly boned and will have to make more bodies and stuff them in more hiding places.

If we could procure some sort of duffle bag from the supply closet or a side room, it would be most useful for stashing these things. Otherwise, the sneaky people should hold stuff.

Well, hey, that's not MY problem now is it 😛

And pretty much no matter how we try and get through here you guys getting spotted loaded down with weapons is going to be a risk.

If we could get some sort of bag to put the weaponry in, and then, say, put tools and wiring over the hurty stuff, that would help hide our weapons and re-enforce a cover story like making an inspection of the Osprey.

I think the duffel bag idea is a good one, too.

And the sneaky team can take anything else that is too large to fit into the bag, as they're not going to be spotted anyway 😉

Well, we ARE getting onto a combat helicopter, which a combat team will be boarding. The guns might not look so suspicious. The swords and staves will be more so...

You don't quite have the uniform look either.

Still! Sounds like ideas are coming together, someone want to submit the final plan?

Well, apparently no one else is going to do so, so I'll do what I can to assemble all the ideas into a coherent plan.

Well this is what I'm getting from all the plans.
All the sneaky people, Barb, Hawk, San and Cloud take the sneaky approach, they are also taking most of the large bulky weapons. (Melis's Staff and Mors' pointy things)

Then the rest of us grab a duffel bag, stuff all the obvious guns and shoot-y things in that, we "escort" the rest of the team to the osprey. If any questions Mors makes up a story abuot needing to go look at the Osprey, or need to be taken somewhere or something.
We jump on, are quickly followed by Team Sneaky and we leave.
Sounds right?

To simplify.
2 teams. Team Sneaky and Team Balls.
Sneaky sneak to the Osprey, while Team Balls, has the balls to walk right by eeryone.

Well, other than the fact that I don't think we can actually take weapons for other people to lower their encumberance (I remember asking about that a long time ago...that and I need to keep mine low so I can be super-sneaky), it looks good enough to me.

Bulky weapons = sneaking almost impossible.

Which is pretty much just common sense...

So, either leave them or come up withh a plan; time is moving on. 24 hour countdown to sort this or they get left behind.

Didn't we pull off sneaking with big weapons without needing to do anything special before when we stole the helicopters?

I can't think of any specific way of doing it. Maybe those with the bulky weapons should think about it...

Only with all those entirely nutty distractions going on, and back when the airfields were unused. Now they are all at alert.

Ah, true.

Well, my statement still stands - I can't think of any ideas for getting away with the sneakiness and the weapons. A staff and katanas aren't going to be easily hidden among tools and stuff, either...

Toss em in the bag, or a bigger bag and take em with our other shit?

Too bad none of us have a bottomless bag/purse...

(yay Harry Potter reference)

Got it, we cut the staff in two, and pack some super glue...

We COULD violently incapacitate everyone who questions us...
